Very nice system - overall the install is straightforward
Fit my 95 Chevy K1500 4x4 pickup truck perfectly. This system is made nicely, very stout brackets with #8 grade bolts for mounting brackets to truck chassis. The bags seem to be engineered and designed well. However, use caution and ease when tightening bottom bolt and top air fitting into the bag so as not to dislodge the integrated nut. This system would have been top notch if the air fittings were brass and not plastic and if the air line were some other material other than plastic but overall seems to fit the bill and works well.Just installed this system this evening so cannot provide a complete, thorough review reference how the system functions with loads and air retention in bags.A straightforward install, just read the install booklet prior to attempting the installation, contains some pertinent information that makes it go smoother. Plus it helps to have someone else to help you when installing the top brackets, you know the 'whole tighten bolts' scene-"You got the nut held yet?"Whomever stated this was a 2 hour install is a deceiver for certain..they must have installed the system on a naked frame with no body, no tires, no brake lines, fuel tank, etc; It took me about 5 hours to install this system, so allot at the least an evening for the install.AND please be sure you have a level, concrete working surface to work off of in order to keep axle straight which is crucial to obtaining the proper ride height so the bags are mounted properly. And put on a pair of old working coveralls...Overall, the installation is straightforward and enjoyable if you are a mechanically inclined individual. Oh by the way, make sure you have a good quality, brand new 3/8" drill bit on hand, to drill through the thick wall chassis. Makes it soooo much easier...chris

You can do this
It seemed a bit intimidating when I opened the package and also read the instructions, but by going slowly I got the job done. I know I could do it a second time much more quickly, but you have to go slowly when you are new at something.I haven't had the opportunity yet to try them out with a heavy load in my pickup truck, but I have no doubt they'll do their job.

what a difference they make
I purchased the AIR LIFT ride control rear spring kit for my 2001 F150 Crew cab. I upgraded my travel trailer to a larger unit and my pickup sagged a bit under the new unit(Be sure to know what you can safely tow and don't over load) After almost 4 hours of reading the poorly worded and organized instructions, I finally got the job done. I would rate the skill level required for installation as difficult. Measuring, lifting and using jack stands, drilling, and bolting the brackets to the inside of frame rails is not a job for the unexperienced do-it yourselfer or novice mechanic. The kit made a world of difference in the ride and improved the handling of my truck while towing or not.I am very pleased with my AIR LIFT purchase but wish the manufacturer would make the instructions easier to follow!

Well Worth the $$$
I added these to my 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 as I recently purchased a 5th wheel camper and needed the additional load capacity. They are FLAWLESS!! Easy installation and work better than I had thought possible! I wish I had a set of these a LONG time ago - especially when hauling a heavy load of dirt, sand, or anything else in my bed. These completely took the sag out of my rear end, and (when loaded) provide a silky smooth ride. The only drawback (for those that like a smooth ride) is that, even when at the minimum recommended air pressure the ride is quite bumpy...it doesn't bother me any as I expect that from a 4X4 working truck.Overall a GREAT product when combined with the Air Lift 25592 On Board Compressor System and HIGHLY recommended!

My 2nd Set Installed on My Pickup
I installed this on my 1999 Chevrolet Silverado LS single cab, short wheelbase. This is my 2nd set I’ve installed on it...the first one was about 8-10 years old before the bags failed from age. The left side one air bag rubber failed and the right side air bag upper support where the rubber molds into the hard surface at the air inlet separated and failed. I figure that this is a service life issue...I probably could have gotten away with ordering just the air bags, but the lower u-bolt mounts failed when I tried to remove them and one air inlet fitting failed when I removed it. I reused everything from the first set and they hold air at 20 PSI for an hour long check. I would buy again.

Make sure u have 6 inches or more space
I installed this on a 02 chevy silverado 1500 8ft box, it took me about 2 hours.Drilling the holes was easy,I ran the air lines inside a larger tube because I put thru the frame, hopefully this will prevent from rubbing a hole thru it.I also ran the velve stem part in the bed of the truck, this was because I didn't want to drill in my new bumper.Very easy to install just read the directions it has different things to do for certain vehicles. As u can tell in the pic I had plenty of space for the bags,I had 71/4 inches.

great setup and product with fairly easy install with some mechanical knowledge important
Highly recommended, good product and really easy to install. It is really recommended to have a few good tools, including several cheap or one really good drill bit. A nice way to put this on is to tap the holes and then weld the joints for permanent installation. Routing the hoses really needs to have some plastic coil wrap to protect the small lines. I mounted the fillers in both sides of the license plate and are really easy to access- it is the place recommended and it is a really good spot. I wrapped my brake controller wire, trailer wires ad hoses in one wrap and put on zip ties every location it was possible to give it positive location.

Excellent product
These are the perfect product to level out your vehicle when it has a heavy load. Even without the load these bags give the truck a better ride a much smoother ride with a load is the same outcome a very smooth ride highly recommend this product. I put it on a 2006 Chevy crew cab Silverado 4x4
