EAS Myoplex Muscle Armor - 1.65 lb

Tastes as good as any sports supplement I've ever drank. And I'm not apposed to drinking things that taste terrible in the pursuit of my fitness objectives. This is the first review I've ever written for a supplement although I've read probably thousands. People are always complaining about the taste of stuff but I don't see how anyone can complain about muscle armor's taste. If you don't like the taste you need to see a doctor. I owned a fitness center for 8 years in the past and sumpplementation was always a passion of mine. The ingredients are all proven to aid in muscle repair and prevention of its breakdown. I've been taking all the amino acids in this product off and on since at least 1998. Usually you pay for the convience of a pre packaged all in one product. Although the price of hmb has come down a lot over the last decade it is still not cheap. Given that this product contains 1.5 grams of hmb along with the other amino acids in doses that are effective(unlike a lot of products on the market especially hard to diagnose amounts of proprietary blends that a lot of companies hope you aren't smart enough to ball park the amounts of individual ingredients). This product is especially good if you are just returning to working out to prevent excessive muscle breakdown. I take it post workout actually before my last set at the gym along with additional aminos I add like Bcaas and extra luciene(which is a bcaa). So it can clear my gut asap so I can take my hydrolyzed whey and bovine colostrum powder mix 25 min after my workout. The pleasant taste is very flavorful so the extra aminos I mix in the muscle armor although relatively tasteless, don't impact it to much. I don't take it twice a day just post workout. I take 2 grams of hmb (met-Rx) at other times of day to get 3 and a half grams per day. Just more economical that way. I just had rotator cuff and biceps surgery and am taking this product in the hopes that it might speed my recovery so I can return to work asap. Also my job at certain times of the year requires me to work 80 plus hours a week of physical work. I take it twice a day durning those times in the hopes of preventing muscle wasting. Although impossible to completely arrest muscle break down during times like that I do feel it helps. At about $1 a dose it is a good value. Stop going to the convience store for water and pop/Gatorade and that will more than pay for it. Especially since Gatorade is useless sugar water anyway. Eat potato chips instead, far more effective and better for you. I've been doing that for years, just ask Jason Hammel(Cubs pitcher). Hopefully I didn't ramble to long although I could have gone on longer. Typing on a table sucks.

This is the same product that was just rebranded and upsized from 14.9 oz(421 grams). to !.65lbs.(750 grams.The manufacture is Abbott Nutrition.Before it was called EAS Muscle Armour with Revigor.Now it's called Myoplex Muscle Armour.The main ingredient is HMB with Arginine and Glutamine with some Taurine.It tastes great and is a good post work out recovery drink ,and it helps muscle breakdown .

Tastes good, and certainly helps reduce soreness and recovery time.

This stuff is amazing, almost so much it’s scary. When I have done different fitness challenges, I use it during/after my workout to help prevent muscle soreness . It always does wonders and allows me to work out the next day feeling great and strong. I did not get jittery or feel anything other than good.

It is tooo tooo sweet, I can not drink it because the taste , do not know if work or not

Powder is very fine. Be careful not to breathe it in when mixing drink. Am on the fence regarding taste. Potential digestion issues.

This product was recomended by our wound care doctor after having had a free flap done. Originally was recomended to use Juven, but due to its higher price Dr. Suggested this one in its place. Sped up the healing process.

Somehow I didn't fully catch that this product had a ton of sugar/carbs in it. No idea where they come from as it's not called out on the ingredients list.Either way, HMB is for fasted training and by including carbs in this, it blows the whole point
