I changed out the cheap seat on my wife's 2004 Perception Carolina 14.5 with this. While this was not the intended sort of kayak for this seat, it has worked well with a few modifications to the kayak.

Seats comfortable and well built to say the least, but one problem thats more of a gripe is the buckles. For a 140$ seat you'd atleast expect them to match. Overall not a dealer breaker and something that's easily changed.

This seat looks comfortable, but the way it attaches does not work with my kayak.

I've been paddling and fishing from Kayaks for the past 10 years or so and being comfortable has become a top priority for me. Most of my time is spent in the seated position, possibly for hours and hours on end. Of course the opportunity doesn't always afford itself where you can just paddle ashore and stretch your legs, so being comfortable is really, really important. Something else to consider is that all my fishing is done in a saltwater environment so accquiring a seat made from material and a manufacturing process that would tolerate the ravages of salt and sea was just as important. There are many other seats on the market but through experience I have found it doesn't take long for the material to start failing due to the salt and the seating area isn't so comfortable after a few hours on the water. This is where the GTS Sport Kayak Seat is definitely a cut above the rest. The seating area stays comfortable and the seat is made of the highest quality materials. The back support is just at the right height for me, allowing me to paddle comfortably without being hindered by a high back or sides. There is a bag behind the seat which is very convenient for those 'need to get to' items. Besides being able to use it as an extra storage area it's great for your bottle of water, energy bars etc. The zip on the bag is once again of a very high quality and the stitching is excellent. If you are a serious Kayaker then this is certainly the seat for you. Great quality at a great price.

Very easy to adjust. Good back support, but not much cushion on the bottom.

Great seat, Perfect fit. Excellent quality.Used it in a Seda Revenge SOT. Tied it in to existing hardware. Added a tie back on the seat bottom to keep from sliding forward, as all seats do. (I like to lean back) Works great.Me 5'6" 145lbs. Much larger than say 165# may be a little tight.No complaints. Go for it!!! Not the softest - so if you are planning an all dayer where you are in and out - plan on your butt hurting. It's the combo of being wet and being firm.It does drain well - but your butt is still wet from getting in and out. If you plan on fishing and staying in the Kayak - I'm sure this would be a great all day seat - pocket in the back is nice too.

It appeared to be a quality seat, but did not have enough back support for a multi day kayak trip. Had my friends try it out too, they recommended that it be returned for the same reason. Instructions on placement of hook latches would have been helpful.
