🔊 Elevate Your Communication Game!
The MFJ-916B Duplexer is a high-performance device designed for amateur radio enthusiasts, offering a frequency range of 1.3-225 and 350-540 MHz, with a powerful output of 200 Watts. Its low insert loss of .20 dB and exceptional isolation of over 55 dB make it an essential tool for clear and efficient communication.

A solid little performer
I think this is one product MFJ can rightly take pride in. It allows you to operate two radios (a 2 meter and 70 cm radio) on one shared antenna...or feed two antennas to one dual band radio. What is does not allow is repeater operation that requires both bands on a single radio. For example, if you set up your radio to call the repeater on the ISS which has an uplink frequency on the 2 meter band and a downlink frequency on the 70 CM band you can have one or the other, but not both, to the same radio. The workaround is to transmit on the 2 meter and receive on on the 70 CM with another radio.

It is a diplexer, not a duplexer. It works 2 bands, not 2 frequencies within one band.
It works exactly as advertised. Simple, built heavy and it works. I use it to work Yaesu FT 2980 and FT3207 with single Diamond dualband antenna at 55 ft on tower. Can monitor both radios and transmit on either as I choose without manual switching.

Easy to order and quick delivery
The convenience of ordering on-line and fairly quick delivery made it easy to obtain this well known product. I use it to connect a VHF/UHF Arrow antenna to my radio while operating in a portable location for amateur radio satellite communication.
