I love this charger I can charge my batteries in my low rider without overcharging them it’s affordable and get the job done 100%

My career requires the charging of at least 3 12 volt multi size batteries every night and I have been through a lot of chargers but this is by far the best, just connect and walk away.Awesome charger.

Works perfect to charge the 4 batteries in my lowrider. Yes, it does make a high pitched “charging noise” but honestly unless your living in your garage and sleeping next to the charger it’s hardly noticeable if your working on other things

I bought this unit intending to use it as a permanently-connected battery maintainer for a bank of vmaxtanks AGM batteries.The INC-406A is a heavy duty smart charger for sure. Enclosed in a thick, powder-coated steel case, this unit looks like it will last for decades. Both the power button and the cable connectors are made to last, using what look to be standardized parts that should make replacing failed components relatively easy. The 4-connectors look to be your basic SAE-type connectors used for motorcycles. The 4 enclosed connecting cables are made of heavy-duty insulated 14 ga stranded wire, crimped at the ends to beefy 4-inch clamps. The instrument panels are easy to read, usage is simple: Just connect, switch on, and select battery voltage. I tested the unit by charging my group 35 car battery, and it ran smartly without issue. The unit seems perfect, except for one small problem: From the moment you turn the unit on, it starts emitting this high-pitched noise that after about 2 minutes will just about drive you crazy if you're indoors. The noise starts as soon as you switch it on, stays there after 10 minutes of being on, and is even there after 30 minutes of charging a battery.The Good:- Quality construction. Should last forever.- Standard parts, also quality made. Cables are beefy; connectors you can find everywhere.- Smart electronics. Small chance of frying your batteries.- Easy to use. Good manual included, but as a tool it's quite intuitive to use.The Bad:- High pitched noise will just about drive you nuts in a quiet indoor space.Bottom Line:If you're going to use this in an auto shop, barn, garage, or other open or outdoors spaces, this quality-built smart charger should deliver many years of service. But if you need quiet operation from your chargers, this unit is not for you.

I use this to charge 6V deep cycle batteries. It charges at 6 Amps which is quite appropriate. It is also a great compact size. The cables and clamps are heavy duty. The only issue is that it lets out a slight 'hissing sound' that is extremely irritating. If this can be sorted out then this would be rated 5 stars.
