tested at 5000MB/s - that's 8 times faster than SATA III
I installed this in an ASRock server motherboard that doesn't seem to like doing PCIe bifurcation (needed by some other quad M.2 cards). I installed 4 HP 2TB SSDs and configured software RAID under Ubuntu 18.04, so I have 6TB of usable storage on the card.My BIOS only reports the first 2 SSDs - I think I've reached the limit of how many NVME drives the BIOS will display, however Linux detected all 4 drives so I was able to configure all 4 drives into a RAID 5 array and benchmark it. I'm getting a solid 5000MB (that's 5 Gigabytes) per second from the array. That's about 8 times faster than anything connected by a SATA III interface, although it's not quite the 6000 MB/s that the 8 lane PCIe slot is capable of taking into account the RAID parity overhead. (Note that although physically this is an x16 card, electrically I believe it's only x8). Overall, the performance is very respectable, but not quite hitting the limits of the other hardware.The card has a nice large heatsink and a large thermal pad to improve heat dissipation - it seems to be adequate so far.The card uses either a Molex or a SATA power connector (it has both) to get adequate power for the SSDs. I would have preferred to see a standard 6 or 8 pin PCIe power connector (like high end graphics cards use)- it would have been both more conventional and capable of delivering more power reliably. But so far the Molex seems to work with my SSDs (although some other SSDs need more power than mine).Overall it's meeting my expectations. The biggest problem with this card might be that Amazon sometimes limits you to less than 4 of the best SSDs :)

Plug and play! works without bios bifurcation
Installed on my Dell Aurora R8 after first trying the Dell Ultra Quad which failed to show more than one M.2 NVME SSD. The ADWITS does what it claims, my system now shows 4 mixed brand M.2 NVME SSD's and they benchmark at the same speed as before when they were installed individually. I now have a free PCIe slot and super fast NVME storage on 4 ssd's plus the primary NVME M.2 for the operating system... this technology will make old fashioned hard drives and SATA SSD's obsolete! The only negative, the unit ships without the power cable. Works in a ASUS P9D WS
Installed 9/18/2019 and it works as advertised with three Samsung 9x0 drives - it freed up a pcie 2.0 slot for a USB 3.2 AIC. Performance seems the same as before or perhaps a little faster. - all subjective ...

it works well
Used it to add a Samsung NVMe SSD to a Dell that did not have an m.2 slot. Plugged it into the PCI3.0 x 16 slot and it worked just fine.
