Holds stuff
I bought this to hold my tools when i bought a house. now it stands in the garage with the unorganized mess of stuff I've piled up on top over the years. It is decent size for the $129 I paid for it. Looking at other tool boxes the same size they're charging a bit more now. Glad i've got this when i did!

Great toolbox for the money
I like this toolbox. It's just a little household toolbox for some tools to go into a closet. It's not tough enough for shop use but for a little toolbox for home or garage use it's perfect for the money. One thing I did notice is that the toolbox in the photo is not the toolbox you get. In the photos the toolbox is different: top lid hinges, handle design, brand label on front, bottom cabinet has a lock. One thing that is annoying is the lock on my top toolbox section is a different key than the lower cabinet lock so two sets of keys. Overall, it's a great toolbox for the money.

$120 seemed like a good deal
Ok, here it is. I read all the negative reviews first before I buy a product. I have a Mini Cooper that I've been doing all the work on, so I continue to buy tools. Storing them in buckets was getting old, those plastic tool cases wouldn't do the trick. I used to build engines for a living, I know the difference between a Snap-on tool case and this unit. I just needed a place to store my tools in the garage, $120 seemed like a good deal, which it turned out to be. I did not have the problems others have had with dented units from them being shipped. I was able to store all of my tools in this unit. I read someone say the draws were too small, they must be giants with giant tools. I have 3 different driver sets, 1/4-3/8-1/2 inch sets, impact sockets extensions, Allen Keys, Breaker Bars, Impact Wrench, Spring Compression tool, Brake Compression tool, Drill, Drill bits, Tap Die sets, these are just the stuff I can remember, the point being, this box holds tons of tools. It's not the heaviest metal, but I'm using it in my home garage, it does the job. The only problem I had was when I was putting my tools in the draws, if you have all the draws open putting tools in, the laws of physics takes over and the top box starts to fall forward, I'm not going to have all the draws open at one time, so no problem really. What I will do is to get a strip of metal and screw it on the back of the upper unit to the bottom unit to keep that from becoming a problem. All in all, this unit was $120, if you want top of the line, then spend top of the line money and stop complaining... If your unit comes to you damaged, I'm sure you would be able to see that before you open the box, send it back for another or a refund. It was more that I expected for the money...

Decent... if it survives shipping
This is easily a 3, maybe 4 star product, BUT, it seems mine (like several others) arrived severely damaged. And contrary to some of the other reviewers of this product, NO, there were NO SIGNS of damage to outside of the box it arrived in. In fact, since the box was in almost pristine shape when it arrived, this product sat in my garage for several weeks before I had the chance to assemble it. Big mistake because now I am outside of my return window and left with a product that is pretty beat up. The bottom door came fully detached and the slide rails are so bent up, it won't go back in. For my use, this isn't a huge deal, but it is the principle of the matter that bothers me. The top tool chest comes screwed into the base, but 3 of the 4 screws holding it in place were completely ripped out upon opening the box.On the plus side, for the price point, it will do the job. The drawers open smoothly, although don't seem to stay shut very well. Assembly was fairly easy and it is nice to finally have my tools in a chest where I can easily find them. I just wish it wasn't so dented as each time I see the dents, I will be agitated that I didn't check for damage sooner. If you do order this product, don't make my mistake and OPEN IT IMMEDIATELY UPON RECEIVING IT to check for damage.

Pros vs Cons
I gave this product 3 stars because it came with a bent area on the bottom. It also was bent near where the caster goes in on one side. These problems were easily fixed with a little bending and hammering. As a note I inspected the box when delivered by Fedex and saw now problems. The box had no tears or cut areas. The tool box was indeed packed good so there should not have been any bent areas in the sheet metal. I can only assume the toolbox was packed by the manufacturer with these dented and bent areas. I can not see where the box was thrown around. It definitely was packed excellent due to the solid hard cardboard in the corners along with styrofoam sheets. As to putting the toolbox together. It comes with the top tool box packed in the bottom. So lay the toolbox on its' side and remove the 4 screws. Also there are 4 screws on the bottom which have to be taken out and discard in your screw jar. Place the toolbox in its's upright position and pull the top out. The directions try to indicate this but, the directions were not that clear. I read the reviews and found these instructions. Place the toolbox without the top box on upside down and place the casters into the slots using a good heavy duty screwdriver and a hammer to guide the stems of the casters into place. There are 4 casters. Two locking and two non locking. So place the locking casters on the same side. The quality of the metal was not great, a little thin but, you get what you pay for. The handles are attached easily without problems. So for $134 with free shipping, this product is well worth its money. For the mechanic who needs a heavy duty toolbox, this would be a waste of money. But for the hobbyist this product does serve its purpose. It moves around quite easily. It does come with drawer liners which are thin, cheap foam sheets. They are already in the drawers. Not the type you buy. But they are included. Overall, I would purchase again.
