Lutema BP96-00224C-P Samsung DLP/LCD Projection TV Lamp (Premium)

The original 8 year old Lamp failed 10AM yesterday, my Samsung DLP was operational 24 hrs later! Great work Team. I purchased this medium priced assembly because of my concerns about brightness, and the picture is spectacular, brighter than the ancient OEM lamp I was running. Please note that there was a plastic bag wedged inside the housing w/ the 2 assembly attachment screws inside. Be sure you remove this bag with care, completely, without tearing it. There is a Fire Risk if you don't remove all of this bag. Also this is quite possibly the easiest component replacement I have done for any electronics equipment. Anyone who can operate a screw driver can do this so 'Go for it'. Just be very careful handling the assembly, don't touch the lamp and replace the access panel before turning on the set.

The actual bulb works great, had an issue with the housing where every 3 days the bulb would not work unless you removed the bulb and housing and then slid it back into place... Then after 3 more days it would fail again. Replaced the housing with the original housing from the Samsung DLP and it has worked beautiful since. Seller was fantastic and sent out a replacement unit, but after I replaced the housing it was not needed.. Sent back the replacement for a full refund.

Mount forLight was broken when i recieved it on the ear with the screw hole. I broke the old ear off to make a washer from old light. Still cannot get my dlp tv to work because it will not turn on. Wondering if lamp is out too.

This product worked perfectly in our Samsung DLP TV. It was very easy to replace. We see no change from the previous bulb. The clarity of the picture remains crisp.

Product delivered was as listed. Fit perfectly and I installed it my self.

The light did not fit. The connectors on the light did not line up with the connectors on the TV and there was no way to adjust the connectors.

This product arrived quickly and was easy to install. The TV brightness is like a new set. Glad I bought it.

I installed this September 25, and it blew out today November 2,we will see if the seller will replace it.
