Contour Products Mattress Genie Adjustable Bed Wedge, 57 Series

This product is easy to set up and works well. My only complaint is that the motor is very load when adding air. Loud enough to wake up the house.

I bought this for my mother who really wanted to be able to sit up in bed to watch TV. The pump on this product is so loud I can hear it over the TV in our basement bedroom when she was upstairs in her bedroom. As others have said, because this is inflatable, it allows the mattress to rock back and forth and I was concerned that she might fall out of bed by accident. 3 days after it arrived it was no longer staying inflated. Definitely not worth the $129. I returned it and did not reorder.

If you sleep on your back and don't move at all, it is okay. If you move toward one side of the bed or the other, all the air moves to the side where you aren't....feels like it is dumping you out of the bed. The only time it is stable and usable is when it is full inflated.

Performed as expected. Noise with the pump was the only problem.

Product does exactly what I needed it to do for much cheaper then the other options!My dad has MS and very limited mobility he broke his hip. After surgery he was thinking about getting an electric bed which ends up being quite a bit of money.I figured I would search Amazon and see what alternatives I could find. Looked at foam bed wedges and pillows but they take up so much space and he would still need help getting comfortable.And most of them ended up being at least $50+ more than the bed Genie.He loves it! He has a sense of freedom being able change his own position without help which is awesome especially for his self-esteem. The pump is a bit loud but it’s not terrible. But thanks to the reviews I already knew that And for the price I really can’t complain. My parents have a king size bed I got a twin size bed Genie so only his side moves decided that was the best way to go after reading the stories about spouses launching each other accidentally from just shifting weight. Figured if my mom liked it we could get her twin also. (She likes it she’s just not in bed enough to use one) I also love that it doesn’t take up space when you’re not using it . I put it under their Tempur-pedic mattress topper instead of under the mattress.Set up took maybe three minutes. Holds air well, haven’t had any problems with leaks. It has gotten a full month of use and still is working great. Very happy with this product. Planning on getting one for my 103-year-old grandma next !!

Waste of money, it is uncomfortable and the air does not stay in it. Can't even find the leak (hole). Wished I could have gotten my money back!

Can I give a 10-star rating?It's super easy to put together! That's a 5-star in itself. Plus another 5-star for its efficiency in getting into a sitting position and/or a smooth reclining position. And another extra 5-star, if I can, for the price is very affordable.I highly recommend it as a post-op aid, and elderly folks, or just anyone who likes to read in bed.
