Four Stars
Great kit. I didn't build it as directed; we used the parts for my daughter's Science Olympiad team.

Doesnt hover
Do not buy this kit. This kit doesn't work. There is no way to make it work. The motor is seriously underpowered and the design does not channel enough airflow to the underside of the hovercraft to even lift the cardboard off the ground, much less the motor and batteries. The only redeeming thing about this kit is that the propeller assembly from this kit can be useful.I checked on line on Instructables for instructions for a hovercraft and found one using an old Styrofoam meat tray. Using a cleaned meat tray, a more powerful motor, a 9 volt battery, the propeller assembly from the kit, some wire, tape, cardboard, and a glue gun I was able to easily assemble a working hovercraft.

This kit is a horrible rip-off. It does not work
This kit is a horrible rip-off. It does not work. The box says for ages 8 and up. The assembly instructions require the use of a BOX CUTTER. Do you want an 8 year old using a BOX CUTTER?The two sided tape is nearly impossible to use. The instructions are poorly written.A 1 Star is too high a rating for this product

My boss gave my son this kit, but it does not levitate or move. My son says that at least he can use it as a fan.

Poor value
If you follow the directions it takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to build and goes together easily. However it does not work because it is to heavy to get lift.
