Assembly took about 10 mins but it was the first time it went up and down so that was to be expected. The YouTube video was helpful! Overall very sturdy. We were hit with an unexpected thunderstorm and we were all dry and the tent was always stable and secure! We were able to very comfortably fit two adults, two children and three large dogs.I will say, in almost all of the pictures with bad reviews it appears that they did not set up their tent properly. We have gone camping with this tent 4 times. Each time the setup is easier. I’ve gotten it down to 6 minutes by myself! (Just need help putting on the liner) but the strands are all taunt!! The ten shouldn’t appear wrinkly. If it is, you’ve set it up too lose. The last time we went camping it rained all night and we’re surrounded by a giant puddle! With that said, THE TENT HELD UP!! We had zero drops of water inside the tent. Our blankets and sleeping bags were dry!It also packs away easy and it’s light weight! (Well more than other tents this size) we absolutely love love this tent. I’ve come back to update this review every-time we go camping!

Not easy to assemble the material seems durable. Ut the poles dont at all do their job. This will fall over in the wind. Not safe for children. I set it up with help could not set up by my self one person. Kept falling over. I put the wind cover on and it would stay up for 24 hours and fell over. Never made any cluck noised like in the video. Super disappointed. followed all the direction watched the videos I left it up for one in day to see how it would hold up. It didn't. Wind hit and it's flat on the ground even while staked down. If you would like to wake up in a fallen down tent this us a great option. My sprinkler system was on and definitely leaked through as well.

Overall, this tent is great! Very easy to put up/take down, roomy, and durable. The only con would be that this tent absolutely needs the rain fly to be stable. Without the fly (correctly buckled on the corners and staked in) the tent will very easily twist in any breeze, leading to it collapsing. Fly is very nice to have, but some days it can be too stuffy, as I found out recently when temps soared into the 100s.

So I purchased a month prior to needing.I opened to set up in the campsite to find black marks on the tent along with dead bugs inside.I was like ok whatever but as I started zipping the inside door to get a feel of it before steaking I noticed the seams were pulling apart!I had no choice but to use it since I was on the campsite.That said I had to steak it without pulling it taunt in fear the seam would not tolerate the tension.I thought I would just exchange it on my return (today). Low and behold the time to “return” has expired- it hasn’t even been 2 months!I suggest going with another well known company for higher quality product and a better return policy. If it’s quality the company wouldn’t be so quick to limit your ability to exchange if there is a problem

I can’t speak for most outdoors people, but myself who hasn’t been camping in quite a while I loved this tent! I like having bigger tent even for less people, and normally have problems with the amount of effort or hands needed to put together. But with its Easy to set up spider arms frame (I did make sure I had set up once prior to camping), simple button release it was a perfect addition for me! Had good venting with 3 people in this tent held my 2 adult length cots with ease and was completely rain proof, and had lots of room to stand up with out hitting my head. The front flap with stood rain storm without wavering.Had set up for about 2 days when a thunderstorm hit around 4:30 in the morning and after closing the flaps had no problem with water! If I had to have a complaint it would be the plastic mallett (but that’s not really a complaint).Rain tarp was easy to connect and was no problem for myself to put on.Tear down was easy, and fast— tight fit into the case so make sure you open prior to trip!

Was so excited to try this tent out when I bought it November 2022. Love camping! Was so looking forward to this year’s camp trips! Am here now at the campsite as I write this. This tent was somewhat questionable for its stability when I set it up. But shrugged it off, being the first tent I’ve had that wasn’t a dome tent. It seemed ok the first 3 days, but today, day 4, a slight wind came up and the tent has lost all stability. I can’t even get the support poles to hold it up anymore! The winds weren’t that strong, maybe topped at 10-12 mph. One pole in particular just won’t stay up any longer. We’re still supposed to be here another 2 nights.PERSONALLY, I ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS TENT TO ANYONE. I am SO disappointed. What a waste of money. I’ve never been so disappointed in a product from Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. We LOVE camping! We have several tents (two are for backpacking including one ultralight) as well we have an RV (travel trailer). We camp at the very least 10 times per year with at least two trips 5 days or more in some combination of using our travel trailer or tent. This tent was purchased because I wanted a car camping tent I could stand up in, as well as desiring a fast set up and good quality. This one knocked it out of the park for the price. Very happy with this purchase.Update: The first camping trip we were off a small lake with a steady breeze and some occasional gust. We never took the sun shade down. Elevation about 4,500. I didn’t notice any condensation inside. Great ventilation. We ran our propane “Mr. Heater” for several hours as well both nights. This tent is a great value.Update 2: Over a year later and about 4 more weekend trips...still happy with the purchase. No malfunctions.
