Very bright but get very hot... and noisy!!!
Well I like most others who bought these (or similar) found that standard halogens just did not cut through the darkness - especially when faced with on-coming traffic who use gas-discharge or other LED systems... they are far too bright! So decided "if you can't beat them join them".Now one thing to identify is that I found my bulb clips would not initially go over the plastic sheath as they are about 3mm thick compared to standard bulbs that are only 0.5mm... so had to get a file and (in the correct place) file away a slight wedge to enable the clip to slide over - otherwise only one side would clip in and so render useless as were not secure. Also as an addition one might find it more useful to actually remove the rotatable sheath (yes you can do so) and fit this in first instance... a lot less fiddly! Also you might find, like I did, that the bulb covers will not fit back as the housing for these LED beasts is far bigger and so pokes out the back more than standard bulbs. In operation I found these LEDs were the business - cutting through the darkness as advertised. Only problem is in the modern times of replacing all streetlights from the usual amber-glow lamps to white LED ones you can not tell if your headlights are on or not. In my humble opinion as a Health and Safety Officer, replacing streetlamps with bright white LEDs is not safe at all - in fact one gets blinded by them... bring back the amber glow ones please - surely there are warm-glow effect ones instead of daylight glaring ones?!??Anyhow - back to the review...1. Yes these LED bulbs are fantastic, but get extremely hot. So hot, in fact, to the extent the black coating on the LED section of the bulbs has burnt away leaving them horribly discoloured to more of a golden burnt brown silver shading.2. The cooling fans after only 3 weeks operation have gone noticeably louder - sounds like you are being attacked by a huge wasp the humming droning sound they make. I feel this noise is related to the extreme heat they generate.3. I kept on getting "Check Right/Left Headlamp Bulb" error on my dashboard... in honesty it did state one might (and I was not off-put by this) but after a while does get a little tiresome.4. These indicate operating temps of between -40 and +80 degrees C... strange as all other LED-based units claim +150 maximum temp... so not sure why these are only +80 degrees. Now one last thing - these have LEDs on both sides on the unit. I take it this is for those vehicles that would utilise for both dip and main beam? Not sure as these only have two connections - one would think it would have three for this to utilise both dip and main... so if only used for a dip beam unit then only one side of the LEDs would work and do (I checked them and even reversing the connection the same strip lit up).Such a shame really as I have now removed them and opted for Xenon Night 100%+ bulbs instead now.So conclusion is:3 Stars

Does not conform to vosa mot
This product has been bought for a fiat 500 the bulb bought was a H7 which is the bulb that is in the car originally . We have had these bulbs since December and we have been flashed by other drivers since fitting . We have altered the height of the Beam. After taking for mot and failing due to the bulb not conforming with vosa . It basically blinds the other drivers due to the beam bouncing everywhere sideways instead of forwards . I have explained this but to no avail .NOT HAPPY

Better than HID!
I recently changed my car and needed new headlight bulbs. I decided to go for LED as they are projector-type lenses. I have tried HID in the past but they were unreliable in my opinion. These LED bulbs are a much better upgrade, no warm up time and a nice clear light. The bulbs are around 5/6000k so no blue tint. One tip for installation - the little plastic ring (pictured) is removable from the bulb! Install this first, then screw in the bulb, otherwise it will be much more difficult.

Good lights - !!! not plug&play for VW Golf GT TDI 140 (2005) !!!
Lights pattern looks good (low beam). No flashing from incoming cars suggesting other drivers are not blinded by those bulbs. For VW Golf GT TDI 2005 adaptors are needed!!! And any other VW with this twist-caps holding regular halogen bulbs. Couldn't find one on Amazon - ordered from eBay for less than £6.On starting the car lights error shows. It disappears after turning on lights. Maybe it's polarity - I will have to check. But I don't think so - it wouldn't work if polarity was an issue.

Excellent Bulb
I was fed up of the 150% brighter bulbs failing so quickly, so had returned to the standard OEM bulbs. However their brightness was clearly lacking.I decided to go for LED's to get the brightness & longevity I was after, but wasn't sure what would fit and work or which brand to go for.I figured for the price, I couldn't go wrong with these Katur H7 LED bulbs. They are of a good design & well made. Packaging was fine, coming with instructions and some gloves should you wish to use them.Fitting was easy. The collar comes off and is fitted first, then you insert the bulb, twisting it to obtain the desired alignment to your previous halogen bulb.Beam throw is excellent, giving a good even spread of light. I am now happy with my headlights!
