Looks great. Extremely dim and hardware broke
I bought this particular retro looking light because it came with the hardware to mount to the handlebar stem. I could not find that piece anywhere else, so I bought this particular light. I mounted the headlight to the handlebar stem, but it broke after a couple of months. Anyway it still had the hardware to mount it to the fork. So I took off my front rack and mounted it to the fork. The light itself is extremely dim. I live in the city and ride on dedicated bike paths or sidewalks, so don't really want a super bright light. But I can't even tell if its ON unless its pitch black.Ok its dim. Thats fine. But why does it need two C batteries? I'm not a weight weenie, but it is heavy with two Cs. Thats probably why the hardware that connects it to the stem broke. All said, I'm happy with how it is now. Although I'd like to convert it from C batteries to AA batteries.

Looks good, works ok, quality meh.
I got this for my Schwinn Meridian trike. Needed some light for night rides, not so much to see by since the street lighting here is adequate, but more for being seen. This does that job well as it has settings for steady or flashing beam. My biggest problem is with the mounts. They send you two different options: a fork mount or a handlebar/neck mount. I went with the fork mount due to ease of installation but the metal the parts are made from is fairly thing and distorts easily when the mounting bolts (not included) are tightened. I used locking hardware to keep everything tight and the mount has flexed enough that it now wobbles. I cant speak to the handlebar/neck mount but it appears they are made from slightly thicker material. There was one other issue I encountered and that was with the battery holder. I had to fiddle with the batteries to get the light to work but once I figured it out its worked great ever since. Brightness of lights are low to average... better than nothing but I wouldn't want to night ride a mountain bike on single track with it!!

As in it looks fantastic, but the build quality is crap
Craptastic. As in it looks fantastic, but the build quality is crap. Switch is made of the flimsiest plastic I've every seen, and the neck doesn't like to stay tight so I'm more often than not illuminating my front fender rather than the road in front.. I would totally buy a high quality version of this for triple the price if I could find one. Also, really dim. Good for oncoming traffic to see you, not so hot for actually illuminating the road in front of you. Keep searching if you want function, but perfectly fine for aesthetics alone.

Cool light
I received the product in a timely manner as I do with most all Amazon stuff. The quality is lite weight but good. Metal construction, chrome plated. Three varieties of mounting provided but I ended up having to adapt one because my handle bar goose neck was frozen to my front forks.Three setting for the light, off, on and blinking. If you're buying this item for light you'd be better advised to buy a more modern system. This light has the COOL factor.

While the light's beam may not be sufficient to cut ...
While the light's beam may not be sufficient to cut through an early morning, English north country fog, it supplies enough to light an evening's tour path. Mounted on a vintage English Raleigh Sprite, it adds a bit of the classic look.

Love it
Looks amazing on my Electra beach cruiser. We mounted it low, just above the front tire so it looks a little like motorcycle headlight. I wish I could post a pic. Also easy to turn on and off and gives off good light.

So-So Lights
Well....I guess there are better made Bullet bicycle lights out there. I haven't come across one yet. Looks OK but quality is 2 stars.

Don't buy unless you are buying just for looks
I bought this light for my motorized beach cruiser, other than the looks it is junk, the swicth is supposed to have multiple settings, but it is made so cheap that it just goes on and off, every once in awhile the flashing light works but you can't see the light even in the darkest of nights, the low beam is the only thing that works on mine and is hard to see at night! Again, like I said don't buy this overpriced junk unless you like the way it looks, because that is all its good for! The only reason I am not returning it is because it looks good on my bike!
