Spectra Premium GM16D Fuel Tank

This Spectra Premium GM16D Fuel Tank arrived in great condition it is an after market replacement of the Original Fuel Tank. Although I have not installed it yet I have taken the time to compare it with the original Fuel Tank. This seem to be an exact replacement to the original Fuel Tank dimensionally. The construction is of a very good quality metal, the tank is seam welded along the entire edges, strap locations are in the correct areas as well as the openings for the fuel pump and fuel neck & vent tube. This fuel tank is specifically for the 1997 ZR2 Chevy 4x4 S10. Just be sure that you order the correct fuel tank for your specific application as the 20 gal fuel tanks will not fit this truck.

Well it fit perfect in my 2000 gmc Sonoma seems well made. I coated mine with rubberized undercoating on the bottom and rust proof spray paint on the top for anyone doing this on a Sonoma I believe it applies to 97-04 Sonoma there is no clearance to undo the lines with either a-removing driveshaft, b-dropping it and risking a pinched or damaged line or c-lift the bed as I did disconnect lines then drop tank.

Good quality fuel tank, for just over 100 dollars. I'm happy with this part.

Spectra is an OE supplier to the Major Auto Makers. This was an exact replacement for the one we took out (Minus the Rust hole and Leaks the original had LOL)

Fit our 2000 S-10 Extended cab perfectly. Be careful, seam edges are sharp like a razor & will cut you with ease.
