Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner, Skin Toner for Oily Skin, 8 Ounces

I had been looking for a long time for natural products to use on my skin to make my skin look younger, deal with wrinkles, act as a sunscreen,and be a product that uses all natural extracts that have the same effects on skin health that most of the over the counter and prescription skin care products do.I had just learned that tomato extract acted as a sunscreen because of the lycopene, I also read about the silicon in parsley helped with skin wrinkles and firmness,the green tea for protecting skin from sun damage caused by free radicals, (all ingredients found in Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner). it also has a natural exfoliator and other ingredients that also play their own roles in keeping skin healthy and young, even seeming to reverse signs of aging.I started to use Burts Bees Garden Tomato Toner 1 to 2 years ago and since then, I have had the healthiest, youngest looking skin since I started my search for natural skincare. (due to allergies) which began years ago. I've tried different natural products on my skin that worked well in some ways, but didn't give me the healthy glow or provide the multiple benefits that Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner has.It has everything in it to take care of your skin. If you feel you need a moisturizer like I do, I just use a small amount of pure virgin coconut oil, which also contains sunscreen, and apply it to my skin either before or after Burt's Bees.I don't feel that I will find another toner that has so much in it to keep my skin healthy and I don't plan on using anything else. It is the best buy I have found as well, especially because it provides so many benefits in one bottle. and it lasts a long time between purchases.p.s. I like to pour it into a small hairspray mister travel bottle and spray it on my face, decolet and anywhere I want to improve my skin health.It is a really, really good product.

I have used this toner for nearly 10 years... but recently purchased a new bottle and was shocked!! New users may NOT notice or care, but for we who have used it for years do!! I emailed the company. The new formula may as well be a bottle of isopropyl alcohol! BEWARE!! Your skin will burn.Hi! I have been using Burt's Bees for nearly 18 years -- back when you could only find the product in very specialized health food stores. The first product I used was the Apricot Baby Oil for my then unborn baby. I was hooked.I have used products faithfully since then. I encouraged my mother to carry them in her store in NY. I used include them in packages where I made homemade diapers for friends. I couldn't think of a more natural product that I trusted impeccably. I have advocated the products to many people and have made many convert! I have often given my co-workers the lip balm for Christmas, and this year... I couldn't believe the variety of balms. I even bought a variety pack to share with my children, and other than the peppermint, they may as well be cheap smelling fruity concoctions. I have remained loyal and faithful until recently.I was running low on my Radiance Day Cream, purchased a new jar, the scent, texture and product is NOT the same. I purchased the Radience Eye cream... same thing... The real slap in the face was the Tomato toner which I discovered over 10 years ago... mild enough for my face. I swore by it. I switched from Este Lauder to exclusively Burt's. Now it is overwhelming with an isopropyl alcohol scent and burns my skin. I can not tolerate it and have started breaking out from the products. I AM nearly 41... I shouldn't be breaking out! Between these three products, I have have thrown away more than $50. Not to mention, jars now have plastic tops?? huh??Then, to add insult to injury, I learned from a friend that Burt's was taken over by Johnson and Johnson. That would explain a lot!! Is Burt's Bees no longer the amazing company that started in Raleigh, NC many years ago? I understand that popularity dictated larger production scale... but the recent changes seem more profit based rather than customer satisfaction.PLEASE explain the truth to what has happened to my tried and true products?!?! I am currently on the look out for face products that work with my skin as Burt's is no longer the answer. Can I mail you back the products for a refund?? I no longer have the receipts... Why would I have kept them anyway? I trusted the product and have NEVER had to return a product.I hope you return to the original formulations, and please let me know when you do! I miss what this company stood for and the all natural good for me products.++++Clorox owns Burt's Bees now... :-(

I've been using this toner for a few years now and there is nothing like it. I use it every night before bed after using Cetaphil and it's done wonders for my spottiness. I have combination skin with occasional breakouts, usually hormonal, and this has helped my skin a lot. One bottle lasts me about 6 months and I know now I need to make sure to resupply when I'm running low because my skin feels drier and is more susceptible to breakouts when I don't use this toner. The scent is very subtle and not displeasing in the least. I actually have grown to love the smell of it. It only has the tiniest amount of alcohol in it, so it never burns my skin. I simply put a little on a cotton ball or tissue after washing my face and run it all over my skin. It leaves it feeling just the slightest bit tighter and cleaner. It's amazing how much makeup is still left on my face after cleansing and this gets all the rest of it. If I'm not planning on putting on makeup in the morning, I'll use this after I shower and put on moisturizer over it and my skin feels great.

I was not super thrilled with this when I first bought it. I tried it a couple times, and didn't notice a difference. I'm not the greatest at following though with routines. I had used this a couple of times, and then stopped for months it just sat. Then I started using it again and I actually see the difference in my pores now, this is the second bottle I've purchased. Yeah it smells strong but once it dries you don't smell it anymore. I have VERY large pores on the insides of my cheeks close to my nose under my eyes. This actually does help them not look so HUGE. I would definitely recommend this is you're looking to reduce the size of your pores. This is the only product I've ever used that has actually made a difference to my pores. At the end of the day before I go to bed I was my face, and then I put this on. Absolutely love it.

So good!! Burts stopped making this toner years ago.... although expired, the toner I purchased off an Amazon seller was just as good as fresh (thanks to the alcohol). Love it!!
