QSC KW181COVER KW-Series Speaker Cover for KW181 Subwoofer

These are nice quality, well designed and fit my KW-181s perfectly. Price seems a little gougey for what they are, but the subs are expensive and the finish is not the strongest, so covers are almost mandatory if they are going to be travelling around in and out of the truck.My biggest issue was with the Amazon transaction this time. I'm a Prime member and order lots of stuff, usually arrives on time and usually only a few days. But this one was weird. I ordered 2 covers Dec 26th and for the next 6 + weeks I kept getting a new bi-weekly or weekly email saying my delivery was delayed again. Week after week this went on, "your deliver is delayed". I was starting to wonder if I'd ever get them, and finally I got 1 of the two. The 2nd cover arrived a few weeks later as a separate shipment. I guess all's well that ends well, but I probably would have bought elsewhere if I had known it was going to take 2 months.

I LOVE this sub. For the price, the sound and muscle is phenomenal. I use it to give my bass guitar rig a fat bottom end, and it delivers in spades -- goes loud enough to be too big on stage, so I love having some gear that I finally don't have to run so hard and stress. Sound quality is awesome as well. the weight is pretty manageable, and it comes with 4 caster pre-installed. I definitely recommend getting the cover though -- when rolling it, the controls face the ground, so I could see them getting messed up in rain or something.

This is the second KW181 sub that I own. As a single sub setup they sound really good but with a pair they are just amazing. QSC is by far my favorite speaker company. I currently have 2 K10s, 2 K12s, and now 2 KW181s. You will not regret this purchase! Do not settle for a cheaper company.The sub is heavy so getting in and out of a vehicle or trailer requires quite a bit of effort. The casters are a great addition but they will rattle in low frequencies. I suggest using some gaffer tape to secure them during your show. I recently did an outdoor event and at 50% gain the KW181 sounded enormous.

I'm the bassist in a "dad band" and needed more low-end for larger and outdoor gigs. While unorthodox, I connected my QSC KW181 directly to my bass amp (using the amp's line level DI out). To my surprise, this setup works wonderfully. The 15" speaker in my bass amp combo covers the mids and highs while the KW181 masterfully covers all the sub-lows. (Just a few minutes of tweaking levels and eqs.) I get many compliments from the audience about the bass sound. It's nice knowing I can now shake the rafters if needed. The QSC quality is top-notch. Solid build. The casters are smooth and quiet. Should be a road worthy companion for years to come. (I did buy the cover too - highly recommended.)
