These hangers were excellent! I replaced both front calipers on my 2006 Toyota Avalon & these worked out fantastic! Thick, strong, & American made, you can’t go wrong. Forget about using wire or bungee cords - use these instead. You just hook the old caliper on one side & the other side to the strut. It’s a no-brainer.

I bought these thinking they are pretty expensive for what they are. On the other hand, drop a caliper that pulls out that bungee and suddenly the price isn't so bad. I mostly work on light trucks, so the coat hanger trick isn't going to fly-- I won't trust a 1 ton caliper to a piece of wire I can bend by hand and I don't want to waste my time twisting and untwisting coat hanger wire to ensure that the caliper won't come loose and perhaps pull out the brake line.So these work pretty well, and you can do limited work on the caliper like slide pins without risking some ad hock method failing, these hangers are quite strong. And I like the stainless, no rust or chipping paint, biggest risk is losing them (I bought the unpainted stainless, not the orange ones... conflicted about that, the orange ones are less likely to drive off by accident).

Simple to use and reliable. Helps a lot for hanging break calipers.

As advertised and pictured. Used to hold up caliper the first day delivered. Will last "forever". Well worth the money and better than ropes, coat hangers and bungee cords. I hooked two together for hanging stuff too.

This is one of those tools you don’t have to have, but glad I now own them. I’ve done my own brake jobs for 50 years and I loved being able to pull the caliper bolts and quickly hang the caliper from the strut spring. No more bailing wire or balancing act (don’t risk it, particularly on a big heavy caliper!) These are heavy duty stainless steel and should last forever. Probably some other uses for them in between brake jobs too.
