TOAST - Real Wood, Self-Adhesive Cover for Microsoft Surface Book 13" with Standard Base, Windows Logo Cutout - Ebony

I have to update my review, because mistake was all mine.I didn't know they made products like this. Real wood that covers your tablet with beautiful design rather than a thin vinyl. It looks and feels like real wood, because it is. Color is great and I'm glad I picked this dark ebony one. Not only does it look great, but I'm sure it has added effect of protecting my device.It is easy to apply. You can just peel the backing and fairly easily line it up and apply. Because it's a real wood it stays flat as you apply giving you control as you try to make that precise alignment with your device.They paid attention in designing this as all of the ports function and doesn't get blocked. Pieces included help cover almost all surfaces of the tablet except keyboard and screen ofcourse. I can close and open the tablet without problems. Instruction included on the packaging is easy to follow.I only wish it didn't cost $100, but I can understand why. At some point I may purchase another one to refresh it.

Professional and sleek. However, I've ordered this twice since my surface book was replaced through warranty and it's not exactly perfect. The cutout for the camera, is slightly off. If you try to align the cover for the camera, then it will be off the logo. So I went with aligning it for the windows logo which made more sense and that resulted it it being slightly off the camera. However still beautiful and would recommend.

I just applied this cover to my Surface Book, so I'm not sure about the durability, but wanted to comment on appearance and the difficulty of applying it.1 - It looks phenomenal - every outward facing surface is protected. A+2 - It was time consuming to apply all of the surface protectors, but it was EASY to align and apply. I had zero issues at all. A+If it's durable (and I have no reason to think it won't be) I will be a very happy customer.

One word: gorgeous. This cover was everything I wanted. Simple, sleek, modern, beautiful, and a perfect fit. I actually enjoyed putting this on. This product is EXACTLY as advertised. Every piece fit its designated area like it was precision cut for it... wait, it was. Definitely not the kind of case that will absorb impact and protect your computer from serious offenses but it creates the perfect barrier between your computer and coffee shop tables and protects against scratches and scuffs from daily use. I no longer feel paranoid when handling my computer outside of its sleeve. I highly recommend this product!

I bought the bamboo version for Surface Book. I like the idea and the smell of wood a lot, however, it has certain issues.First, if you follow the instructions, the hole for Microsoft logo does not align with the hole for camera so one has to compromise.Second, the bottom piece I received seems to have a defect where I can clearly see the machine that cut the wood made a mistake at some point and from there on cut it wider than the piece should be. This causes one edge to have a sticky extension, drawing dust.Finally, there are some parts with splinters on the little pieces that go on fulcrum hinge clearly due to an error with the cutting machine.Again, I love this idea and am still using mine, but I was expecting a higher quality control for a 100$+ cover. If they fix these problems I will give 5 stars.

I love the cover but it’s already coming off, purchased it in October and the top cover is already bulging and coming off, it’s like the tape/glue doesn’t work anymore. It was an expensive cover so I’m a little annoyed that it doesnt last very not. I really just use the computer for school and I’m really careful with it so I would expect it if i was on it all day and was rough with it. I’m just a little disappointed

This thing is gorgeous and feels great, I was a little hesitant at first because I was afraid that I would apply it wrong, but I followed the directions and took my time applying it and it looks professionally done. Really nicely done and very happy that I could support a small U.S business

This cover is expensive. Yes. There are not many reviews. Yes. Are you skeptical about buying it? Yes.Did I spend 100+$ on this product with my very own hard earned money? Yes. Do you want to buy this? Yes.Let me tell you, it was everything I could've wanted and more.The attention to detail is insane, since it is lazer cut. Each piece adheres beautifully and your new laptop will feel even more alive and unique.This product is very well made, and it is fantastic.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! Believe and you shall receive. "only downsides:1. takes finesse to apply and time, very delicate.2. single use only, removing will dmg product.3. slightly pricey but you get what you pay for4. May not truly "protect" your laptop from a fall. Protect from scratches mostly.5. huge eye candy, be aware of thieves ;)
