I needed a sexy dress for an upcoming event and this fits the bill. The tropical blue colors are stunning. The dress fits my 2x wide frame nicely and provides a slimming appearance. It is soft and flowy. I am looking forward to wearing this to my upcoming event.

I have received so many compliments on this dress! The colors are vibrant the fabric is soft and comfortable.It's so hard choosing shoes and clothing online. I read buyer reviews until my eyes cross. Because of this I feel it's important to share. I am 5' 9", weigh 225. I wear a 42D bra and wear an XL, 1X or 16w in clothing. I am wide through the hips and very self conscious about it. I ordered this dress in a 2X.When I first put this dress on I was somewhat iffy about the fit because it's that kind of material that hugs your body. However, I so happy that I kept it on! Its soft and flowy and very feminine. The top is a little big, more like the straps are a little too long. Overall I really like it.4 stars because of the fit. Also, the material is heavy. I definitely won't wear this on a very hot day.

The dress is gorgeous and fits like a fit and flare. Cool fabric, but clingy so it will hug those curves. My measurements are 43, 40, 50 so I wasn't sure what size to get at first. I went with the 16 and thank God I did and not the 18. It was just stretchy enough to fit and flatter my large hips and butt, but is still a little large for my bust. One size up and the girls wouldn't be covered, one size down and those curves wouldn't be so flattering. I bought the dress for my 10 year high school reunion cocktail dinner. I figure every girl is going to be wearing the standard little black cocktail dress. With this dress I know I'll stand out, look good, and be comfortable after a night of mixing and dancing. Plus the cut of the top is one of my preferred styles, so I would love to order more of the shirts and dresses if they weren't so damn expensive!

I ordered this dress because I don't really have many dresses. I'll admit that I'm a fat chick and working on getting my body back, so I'm being perfectly honest when I tell you that this dress flatters. Granted, the arms aren't so great for a fat chick if you have the flabby upper arms that age brings, but the cut of the dress slims the waist and enhances the curves. No dress is going to make me look slim, but this one is quite flattering for a person of my size (22-24). If you are on the fence, give it a try. I was hesitant because online clothing shopping doesn't often work for me, but I'm glad I ordered this dress. I may go back and order the plain red or black one.

I have to say that the customer service was exceptional in that they contacted me before shipping to make sure that I had ordered the right size to avoid any problems. The dress is beautiful, fits well and looks good on me. Since I am heavier, it isn't always easy to find clothes that work. The pattern is good at hiding those little problem areas. I would recommend this dress to anyone and plan on purchasing it in black.Just as a follow up. I wore this dress to brunch the other day and got several compliments. It was totally worth every penny!

Order larger than your size, ladies! My measurements (which I know by heart as I often order well made corsetry) are B: 45" (I'm a DD), Chest: 40", W: 40", H: 47". I stand 5'9 and this dress came just above my knees.I love the color and the fabric. Very summery. It will be lovely for sunny, warm days. My only qualm is the fit. I'm a 14/16 in everything else I buy, across the brands. I bought this in an 18/20 and it's still a bit snug. Being a made in America product, I figured the sizing would be a little more true to our standards.
