Perfect for Ear Pain
I bought this because I get extreme pain in my ears from wind. I’ve tried all sorts of ear bands. So unless you wanna wear an Elmer Fudd hat, you’re gonna want this. It cups my ears & the Gore-Tex keeps all wind from touching my ears. Only con is that there’s a muffly sound, but your ears are covered, duh. Though you can still hear for safety on your walks, etc.

Best ear band ever?
Nice light weight ear band. As an ear band aficionado of 40+ years, this has got to be one of the best I've ever used. The fabric is totally windproof and it 'cups' slightly at the edges. This acts to seal your ears away from wind that usually gets in around the edges of an ordinary ear band.It is light weight enough to easily store in your pocket and does not deaden sound very much, so you can hear traffic around you, etc. This is a big improvement from other ear bands that I have usedThe size is slightly small for my 7-7/8 hat size head. The Velcro at the back is only overlapped by about 1/2 inch when it is sized to fit my head. The material is slightly stretchy though. Also, the 'cupped' material edge at the Velcro sometimes causes the Velcro to scratch the back of my neck, until I adjust it (the edge rolls under).Overall the best ear band I've ever used for moderately cold conditions, probably good for mid to upper 40's.

Great to block wind, sizing runs small
This is probably my 4th OR headband. They are my go-to for winter head gear. I can wear these with a ball cap in the winter for all but the coldest days (maybe down to 15 degrees). It’s great for blocking wind and the adjustability with the velcro closure is great. My only complaint is the sizing has been inconsistent over the years. I started with a medium originally which was a little small, could just close the velcro. Then I moved to a large which was much better. (I wear a size large ski helmet, if that helps). The latest iteration I got has more elastic around the bottom, which makes for a tighter fit, and runs small again since I can barely close the velcro. Still, I will keep coming back, these are better than almost all other ear warmers on the market.

Way too small!
Seems like warm, windproof, but it is a CHILD SIZE! What good is adjustable band when the LARGEST adjustment IS a SMALL size, then it adjusts SMALLER?!!

best ear wrap
This thing is the best. I've had a few other ear wraps previously, but this is truly the tops. I'm saying that for two main reasons. First, it's got a fleece-like feel to the inside of it that definitely keeps wind and cold air at bay. But the big thing about this wrap is that it perfectly cups down over your ears, almost encasing them. The wrap I had previously was large enough over my ears that its fabric extended over the full height their full height, meaning my ears were not entirely exposed to the element. But it did not hug my ears around the bottom, the way this does. It's kind of a combination of those stand-alone ear covers and a wrap. Wish I had it years ago.

Is it cold? Is it windy? GET THIS
I hate hats, especially when I'm running. So I wear this when it's below 20 and ESPECIALLY when it's windy. Keeps the top of my ears from freezing off! Perfect.

Keeps me toasty warm
I bought this (size large) for Hubby who has a big head. It was too tight for him. The velcro allowed it to "fit" but it was so tight it looked like he had had a facelift. So, I tried it on myself and size large was perfect for me! I have never felt so warm outside waiting for buses and trains, even with the wind coming at me. It is so thin I don't understand how it can keep me that warm, but it does. I will never go back to just earmuffs. Sound does get muffled slightly. If there were an XL option I would def buy it for my husband because the product itself is great, just didn't fit him comfortably.

P O S
Don't even consider this if you wear glasses. It puts pressure on your nose and pushes the glasses down. This was smaller than it should be, The bottom of the ear part curls up constantly. There is a small knob in the back were the stitching ends that digs into your neck. As you move around the fabric inside scrapes up and down on your ears making a noise that is very annoying.
