Strong and sturdy umbrella, capable of withstanding heavy wind and rain. However, when opening the umbrella, there is a rather loud pop sound, which may startle people around you. Need to use a bit of strength to retract the shaft. This is not a light weight umbrella, and it takes quite a bit of space in your bag. No UV coating. If you're looking for a strong umbrella which simply doesn't break, this is the one you're looking for. If you just want a small light umbrella for occasional use, might want to give this a pass.

I requested 3 x returns for this item that broke the second time I used it. I ordered 3 and the company has not had the decency to return by emails or provide a refund. It is supposed to have a warranty!
