Delicious Incense
I've bought 5 of the 6 Shoyeido dailies (450 stick flatbox) through Neo Fields of Japan, and all have been well-packed (taped sides to keep box closed). All of the dailies are lovely in their won way. White Cloud has a delicious sour woody smell to it than can take a little bit to get used to but it really grew on me. I love it.

Love love love
It smells divine, not over powering. It takes a while to burn. I’m impressed.

Great product horrible value
Advertised at 30 mins a stick burn time (approximately) reality is about 12 minutes. Expensive for the burn time even with the amount of incense in the box.

Smells nice, a lot of camphor
This is a classic Shoyeido daily. I was a bit surprised by the Japanese version though. There is a lot more Borneol camphor than in the US version. The fragrance is more refreshing and less sweet. It's still a great incense, just different. I'll be curious to see how it ages as I use up the generous box.

Incense for grown-ups
The most expensive of Shoyeido'd "Daily Incense" line and my favorite. Similar to Shoyeido's Five Hills, but deeper, more complex, more "mysterious."LIke fine wines, better-quality incenses also have learning curves, so this incense may be best appreciated after one works through at least 2-3 of the less-expensive incenses in the Daily Incense line before hitting the Haku-Un, the top of the line. Really, I've bought expensive incense and thought it smelled like smoldering firewood, put it away for a few months while refining my discernment with lesser incenses, then returned to the stashed expensive stuff and find that it's like a light has been turned on in a formerly dark room . . .
