As their functionality goes, these tools are obviously not professional grade. If you think that they are, then your sense of reality is highly distorted. However, if you need to occasionally do some light adjustment and happen to be a person that likes pretty things, these are wonderful.The screwdriver, for one, works better than half of the ones that have the similar format which you can find in hardware stores. It is not flimsy and does not shake, thus making it useable. Furthermore, you do not damage it by using it.The scissors are scissors. You will not cut through metal with them, but I have used them on paper, cardboard, string, tape, and various other thin materials and they have worked just as well as my other pairs. This does not say much, considering that even most kindergarten scissors are functional, but, again, remember that they are "pretty".The measuring tape is measuring tape. It works as well as the tape I bought from CVS for five dollars, but if you consider the price...And now the hammer. Granted, it is not one that you can use to nail in nails without damage done to it, but it does still give a fierce blow if you are realigning a desk or such. Also, it removes nails rather well. Using some rubber in between, I was able to nail something into a wall without damage. Initially, I did not see much use in the mini screwdrivers within it, but that exact set is exactly what was required for more precise projects, such as opening laptop computers. Having had to do this before, I am happy that I will not have to borrow somebody else's toolkit.My one regret with this product is that I could not choose the coloring. Mine are blue with white daisies, but this does not bother me very much. Otherwise, everything but the hammer part of the hammer is fully functional, and even the hammer part will do much of the random things that you may need a hammer for.Just a tidbit - the hammer alone costs more than this at Hallmark.

I like this mall tool set, for light work I would say. Feminine - flowered and pretty. The hammer's handle unscrews for three screw drivers, smaller than the large one that comes by itself (which flips to Phillips or flathead). The tape measure has a switch that keeps it opened or closes it, when finished. A pretty good pair of scissors came with it too - boxed so it didn't damage anything in shipping. I'm very satisfied with it.

This kit pretty much makes small jobs (hanging pictures, tightening drawer pulls, etc) easy. I bought this as a kitchen set for my wife. Her previous group of tools has flown the coop over time. This kit did not actually come with the scissors and tape measure, but had the screwdriver, hammer and a set of slip pliers. The screwdriver will flip for phillips or standard blade, there are two sizes in the handle. Even the hammer stores two screw drivers in its handle.

It was what my daughter wanted but price was expensive for China made stuff.

Loved it. It was a birthday present. She loved it!!!

Finally a set of basic tools that I keep on my desk. Now I have the tools when I need them instead of having to hunt for 1 of the 2,000 tools the men of the house own but which I never can find. They are sturdy and work well so far.

Great gift for the girls going off to college.
