Seraph of the End, 2 (novel): Guren Ichinose: Catastrophe at Sixteen

I got into this series after reading the Manga set in the same world but in the future. These novels tell the background story of some of the main characters and give you a better idea how the world went from we know into the final messed up state it's in in the future.

I've been investing my time in the televised series and have come to love the book adaptations. Is it better than the Japanese wording? I don't know. I can't read Japanese, but any fan of the series will love and appreciate these prequels.

Many good moments. Can feel the anime imagination running in my mind during the bromance and romance parts of the story.

This book will blow you away. I couldn't put it down, can't wait til the next one comes out.

One of my favorite books ever!

Be warned for sexual violence threatened against almost every female character, including an eight-year-old. The book could have greatly benefited from excluding some of these scenes (especially the one with eight-year-old Shinoa...).

Best light novel series I have ever read.

This can be so sad as to what happens, need to read this prequel to the manga and anime, may just fill in a few bits but even if you dont you wont miss too much. Background info into the political shinanigans and also how the black demon gear was introduced.

Fantastic series well worth the money.

Finished it in three days, it came much earlier than it's expected delivery date. Very happy!
