I can't understand why so many reviews claim that the spray adjustments don't work properly. Both of the brass hose nozzles that I received this summer work and adjust very well. I can now water my flowers close up or to a distance of about twenty-five or thirty feet without any problem. The solid brass construction appears to be equal to the ones manufactured decades ago.

Well made - Heavy Duty.
These brass hose nozzles are well constructed. Heavy duty brass with dual 'O' ring seals at nozzle and formidable removable rubber (?) seal at hose connection. Smooth rotary flow control gives you a seamless variable stream of water. This timeless hose nozzle design should last a lifetime as there are limited moving parts to malfunction or wear out! Now with the 2 New Biswing Brass Nozzles I can get rid of the non-serviceable 'trigger' handle nozzle and give my vintage Gilmour brass nozzle to one of my kids! (Vintage Gilmour hose nozzle, circa 1950's, early 1960's, is similar in design to my new Biswing nozzles, that look to be as good or maybe a little bit more 'heavy duty' than the vintage Gilmour nozzle.) From a price point and my first impression and actual use of these hose nozzles, I would highly recommend them!

Works better than fancy ones...
Two for 8.99, 10 extra washers, easy to use and appears indestructable. Works better than all the cheap, fancy nozzles at half the price. Any questions?

Decent!
The quality and machining of these items is great. They open/close very easily, don't leak and provide a nice stream/spray of water (in fact, when adjusted to a stream it's clean, strong and shoots very far!). The handful of additional rubber washers is also much appreciated! The only gripe I could come up with is that they're a bit on the small side (with resultant loss of volume). Not so good as a fire hose, but plenty for the garden.
