I've put my full weight on these for miles riding my electric bike and they have saved me from slipping more than once off the bike. I have also crashed my bike or dropped it a few times and these can and have taken a beating nothing beats solid medal like these.

Bearings over tightened out of box (would not spin freely). Had to readjust (loosen) for a perfect function.Otherwise good.

The pedals work fine. The included adapter was easy to use. I use with Zefal toe clips that I mounted with zip ties.

Perfect for my 90s bike rehab

So, we bought a "Mongoose" bike for a little one, and the left pedal was so tight---you know, it DID screw on and off just fine, but it had to be FORCED to *swivel,* as it's supposed to swivel around on its "axis"). Anyway, it was so tight, it'd fall off while he was trying to ride the thing, because his pedaling would effectively unscrewing the left pedal. (Ugh.) It happened over & over--and no amount of WD-40, etc.---and no manual adjustments I could try to make---did a thing for this kiddo's pedal situation.Schwinn to the rescue. When these really economical pedals (quickly) arrived, it took all of 30 seconds to replace the faulty Mongoose left pedal with the left pedal in this Schwinn set. (Of course, I replaced the right, too, so both pedals would feel the same.)Voilà! No problem!*Also*, these have good, good traction so sneakers don't easily slip off. (In fact, my older and much bigger kiddo wanted to put them on HIS (far "fancier"--nicer than most Schwinns, in fact) bike, because his feet slip off those pedals rather easily---his is a hybrid, not a racing/road bike with those toe things. And, because these have the adjustable screw-on thing that allows the pedals to fit different bikes, his plan to swipe his little brother's would have worked. But, instead, when the weather warms up, I'll just find him some nicer pedals, too--I imagine Schwinn makes equally good replacement pedals that would better fit his feet, too.So, I'd say, buy them!

The adapters for 9/16 stick the peddle out too far making it uncomfortable to ride.
