Killer Instinct Crossbows have a reputation for cracking/breaking crossbow limbs. I have not read anywhere where they have addressed this issue but the overwhelming majority of individuals I read about that have one has had the limbs crack or break. The limbs on mine broke, my hunting buddy bought one because I did and the limbs on his broke and both crossbows probably had less than 50 shots on it. It's a great idea for power versus price but I think they need to improve the construction and durability.

I have replaced the limbs on my ripper probably 6 times due to them constantly cracking. A bolt weighing 550 grains was used for my shooting sessions. KI sends free limbs however you have to pay a shop for the install. Each set of limbs has around 40 shots before failure. I loved the speed and accuracy, but the constant limb replacing has devalued this product significantly.
