The shoes originally seemed fit for purpose and are very comfortable however in the last 5 months they have only seen occasional light activity walking the dog during wet weather, the shoes and linings still look new but the stitching on the right toe cap has come apart exposing the lining and the left one is showing similar failure (obviously the stitching has perished)I feel that I should be returning the item as not fit for purpose but there does not seem to be a process to do this, I will be pursuing this through amazon

Not good, a very honest review.
I bought these for my holiday in Scotland, two weeks before I was due to go. At first they were comfortable and I walked my first gentle walk (14 mile hike around two Scottish lochs on a regular path) on my second day of wearing them. The next day I walked down to the cove to watch some seals, on the way back my feet started to roll and turn in them. I tightened my laces and carried on (this was no more than 1.5 miles). A few days of travelling in my car and camping with no walks. I arrived in Aviemore and prepared myself for a gentle walk up some fire roads in the forest and as I was putting my shoes on I realised that they had started to delaminate at the front. They also had become very large and were really hard to tighten as they had so much padding on the front. I made a mental note of this and set off for my walk. After walking approximately four miles I started to get the very worst pain in my feet, so bad I had to take my shoes off and rub voltrarol gel into the feet. By the time I got back to the car (after about 12 miles) I was in so much pain I could hardly think. This was the last time I wore the shoes. I swapped over to my regular trail runners from this point on and had no more pain whatsoever. Two days later I arrived home and emailed the company. (Update: I received an email from Wyndsors asking for me to return them and received a full refund. 5 stars to Wyndsors)

A great value shoe that fits broad feet
I wanted a good looking comfortable shoe to wear to and from work, whilst doing jobs around the house and on leisure walks on an evening with my wife. I had been wearing a pair of high end walking shoes costing £90 but didn't want to ruin them. I have broad EE fitting feet and normally take a size UK13 EU 48 shoe. I struggle to get shoes that are comfortable from the start. Any concerns I had about these shoes evaporated after wearing them for the first time. I initially thought that they would rub the underside of my ankle but they softened up a bit and have not been a problem. There is plenty of room across the widest part of my foot and ample room in the end of the shoe to wear thick walking socks if required. The laces fit through eyelets for all but the last two positions with the last ones being the usual hooks found on walking boots. The laces are long enough for the shoe to be removed without having to unthread the laces at all. I have worn them all day a couple of times and found them to be as comfortable as my regular high end walking shoes. Some reviews have said that they are not suitable for broad feet. I disagree.

Beware of under-sizing
I bought these to replace some older Bodmin III weathertite shoes which I have simply worn out - those were excellent and pretty weatherproof. Despite being visually similar the Bodmin IV are far too small, with a narrow toe and the whole shoe is shorter as well. The size 12 is probably a full size smaller than size 12 in the old shoe, which was generous. I cannot wear them for any length of time as they pinch too much, and there isn't a size 12.5 or 13 - but I have never needed a larger size in anything else. They would probably be good if they fitted, but sadly they don't.

These boots are made for walking
Was very sceptical at buying boots online as generally purchased tresspass boots, but as closing down and if I’m honest there boots we’re becoming poorly made as would not last past 6months as either sole would come away or split on side. So opted for these, now I have a wide fitting issue so when took out the box I was like these look narrow, however they actually fitted well, not tight or narrow at all.Now for other reviews on here, people were saying they needed an extra size up from what they actually are. Now I’m a size 8 and they fit perfectly. So no need to up the size in my opinion.I do think I’ll purchase these again if Amazon continues selling them.
