Lava Aire Italia LAI-OASIS-BLK-EL Portable Outdoor Oasis Evaporative Mist Cooling Fan

The boxes it come in was a mess, we had bent parts, screws that didn't fit and the fan guard would not fit. We fixed the bent parts all but one. Got it almost together and the motor gaurd part just wouldn't fit correctly . So we boxed it up and sent it back. We had to pay shipping up front ( $123.00) which I didn't think we should have to since it was damaged. Amazon did give our money back as a credit. We ended up buying another model, didn't want to take a chance on reordering the same fan.

I hate it when a product that is damaged on delivery gets a one star review.Admittedly, I got this awesome fan from Home Depot all put together and ready to go, but the product is great!We originally got the Lasko 7050. It's wonderful if you want to take a shower on your porch. If you want a true misting fan go with Lava Aire.The Oasis fan creates an ultra fine mist/vapor that I can sit right in front of and use my ipad to write this review totally dry and cool. This is a great misting fan. It is made from high quality materials. It is highly adjustable as far as height and angle. The oscillation feature is nice, but would be nicer if you could adjust the oscillation arc. The fan is powerful and sends out a nice current of air. It is a tad loud, but I don't think you could move that volume of air any quieter without a much larger diameter fan.Overall a great product! Ignore the one star review.UPDATE:The fan was used every weekend for 2 months. At 2 months the electronic controller pad went crazy and became non-functional.We returned the item to Home Depot for a full refund.However, I liked the fan so much I am strongly considering ordering another and hoping my malfunction was just a fluke...Reducing from 5 stars to 3 basd on my experience.
