I have used Natural Balance treats for years, since I own a dog with food sensitivities and irritable bowel disorder. I take his dental health seriously, especially in his golden years. While I brush his teeth with doggy toothpaste several times a week, I was interested in supplementing that with a dental chew. These Natural Balance LIT chews were the obvious choice for me.Both of my dogs love these. The chews are very hard, so no trying to break in half to save for later. But I think their denseness is what makes these good for a dental chew. My boys have to lay down and work a little to eat these. While I wish the price was a little lower, the money is well spent to avoid tummy upsets. My pantry is never without these.

My dogs LOVE THESE. I have ordered them many times and I feel they really help keep the dog teeth a bit cleaner. I do not brush their teeth as I know I should so now I give them each one every other day. When I first started I did it on odd days and now all I have to say is "its an odd day" and they come running. There is many flavors and I have not found one that they don't like. The only thing I don't understand is why some flavors is more then others, but I will continue to buy these and will get them from Amazon because I can count on them to ship when they say they will.

My Maltese is very fussy and if she does'tt like something she won't eat it. I have tried many types of kibble on her that she would not eat. She does eat this after her meat. I is also healthy for her.

My older dog has a sensitive stomach, and my younger dog has a few mild allergies. They both enjoy Greenies, but I wondered if the ingredients were contributing to some of their lingering problems. I decided to make a change.The dogs enjoy these a lot, but then again they like most everything. These are harder than Greenies, and so the dogs spent more than 30 seconds eating them. They both had to actually lie down, hold the treat with their paws, and eat it like a bone (they just stood and annihilated Greenies with no effort). My dogs like chewing on treats and toys, so this was a plus. If you have a dog with dental problems, a softer treat would probably be better. For a dog who is good to chew, though, this is great. I've always wondered how Greenies could help much if they were so soft. It may be less of an issue for smaller dogs, but I have two lab mixes and they can CHOMP.Considering the minimal price difference, I think I will stick with these.

First, I was concerned that the package stated "manufactured for" Natural Balance in California. I only buy US products. I gave this one a pass since there are limited ingredience and less chance of contamination.My dogs diet is extremely limited as she suffers from EPI. It's very difficult to find treats for her but she does well with duck. When I saw this product, I thought I'd give it a try and was not disappointed. Her tummy handles it well and she absolutely loves them! It's also great for her teeth and breath. Will be stocking up

My dog loves dental chews but is allergic to so much. This is one treat she can have. The flavor she loves. Smells pretty good and they maybe a little more expensive then I like but she loves them and that's all that matters

The Best ! Our small dogs love these dental chews. They can't wait to get them each day, knowing that they taste great. We enjoy giving them due to the excellent cleaning action combined with the limited ingredients. Their teeth are cleaner than they have been for years. One is seven and the other 13 years young...they both look years younger now ! LOL We found these by recommendation from another happy dog owner that struggled with keeping their aging companion's teeth clean and healthy. We were sold after seeing the results....

I'm typing this for Jack, my six year old miniature Schnauzer. " I just love the tooth brushes my Mom gets for me. They are delicious like Peking Duck and they keep my teeth tartar free. I saw my doctor last week and she said she can't believe how clean my teeth are and how healthy my gums are." Yes I was very proud of Jack also. These saves me money for teeth cleanings at the Vets. for Jack and he really enjoys them.
