What size wrench is provided?

The wrench fits a 1inch nut an it is 5 and 1/4 inch long. It worked perfect on my standard size taps, and the applets for the wholes are universal for all taps.

Exactly what nut does the hex part of the wrench fit? will this wrench work for removing the nut in the tower

The hooked end of this wrench is used to loosen and tighten the collar that holds your beer faucet. The other end is used to loosen and tighten the beer nuts on your keg coupler. It is not the right size for the nut that holds your beer shank in place.

This tool is just a little too small for the nut on my tap. Can anyone recommend a slightly bigger wrench?

Try it again. At first I thought it was too small but it fit. If not, just use a crescent wrench or buy the butterfly nuts. No tools needed with the butterfly nuts.
