LOVE THIS LITTLE THING
I purchased this item to cook rice for my dogs food.. it is a wonderful little item.. I do end up adding more water than it suggests, because it does tend to dry the rice quickly with the heat.. since there is no adjustable level for the heating.. And I do have to keep an eye on it.. sometimes turning the switch off while it cooks.. and then back on again.. So it doesn't cook too high .But other than that absolutely love this little thingCleans wellCooks wellGreat for camping too for beans or soup

Light weight, easy to clean, heats quickly
I live alone and have issues with my hands that effect my fine motor skills and make my grip weak. I have found that light weight counter cooking appliances are easier for me to manage than heavy stove top pots and pans. This little hot pot is no exception. It is light weight. The handle makes it easy to move from cabinet to counter. It also makes it easy to hold the pot in place when stirring.Water boils in it quickly making it easy to cook stews, soups, and pastas. It easily browns veggies or meats in preparation to making stews and soups. I am careful to not add cold liquid to the hot pot after browning because the manual says quick temperature changes can warp the pot. ( I just make sure the liquid I add is a little warm). I do not use it for rice and porridge as I have a mini rice cooker for that job. Though I think it would do fine cooking them. I have not used it as small fryer, though I feel it gets hot enough one could do so.A word of caution even the lowest temp is more than a simmer and you have to watch what you are cooking closely.

This small pot get hot in a hurry..
It does exactly what it says... You can pretty much cook anything in this pot.. however it does get hot so you need to stand over to watch it cook.

Great for Small Spaces!!
The media could not be loaded. I bought this pot because as a truck driver I was trying to find ways I could still eat healthy while still on the go, a normal sized crock pot was to big and was hard to store for me. Came across this product and was kinda hesitant because I wasn’t sure the size and if it actually heats up hot enough. The pot heats up VERY quickly! I made my veggies in about 5 mins which was perfect! The pot was very easy to clean, I used a rag to wipe it out and store it under my bed! I would recommend. Especially if your on the go. 5 stars

Space-saving multitasker
I have a tiny kitchenette with very little workspace, never mind storage. This device fills the role of sauce/pasta pan( individual portions), steamer & mini-frying pan very nicely. I also like that the main body fits into the colander for storage. Clear lid w/ steam release hole is helpful. There are two temp levels on power button, set by clicking left or right;. Power button is reassuringly stiff; no chance of turning it on/off by accident. I use high for boiling water & , so far, have used lower setting to lightly toast garlic bread; just enough room for a slice to lay flat. Heating isn't uniform for toasting- bread browns in the middle more readily but there's heat to the edges. The non-stick coating hasn't really been challenged yet with my usage but seems ok. Build quality is a concern- the body is plastic, inc the handle which is two pieces molded together; not sure how durable it will be or whether water may get inside the iffy joint in the molding , how well it will handle the strain of a full pot of soup, etc. Wish it had a pair of metal handles on body like the colander/steamer does. Cord is well insulated & sits firmly in body, 31" long from base of plug at each end. There is a little orange on/off indicator light & I've heard a click now & again which suggests there is heat regulation of some sort going on for safety. I don't think there's an automatic cut-off, though, so it needs watching when in use. Colander/steamer, lid, and body fit together well enough to keep steam from escaping but aren't seated together deeply enough to be really stable, so take care not to knock it around or you could get a steam blasted finger or wrist. Bottom gets warm so a trivet or heat-resistant pad is wise. No sign that it's getting dangerously hot, though; silicone pad barely warm to the touch after several minutes of fierce veggie steaming. Instructions didn't come in English so I learned to use it by common sense/deduction

No heat control, get extremely hot.
It’s fine as long as you boil water. If you make something else like tea or put in milk in it, it burns. I boiled eggs for the first time and it kinda burned the shells of the eggs. And it says it’s nonstick but it was hard to clean after I burned the milk… and it produces a lot of smoke and smell … not safe to use in a non ventilated hotel room.

Has a few kinks but overall am satisfied
The pot does exactly what’s promised I just wish it either had a pour spout or the inside was removable so I could clean it easier without worrying abt water dripping into the button/plug.the heat on both settings is very high as well it needs a low heat setting as it burns very easily if you aren’t watching it. I do appreciate how fast it heats up though, very little waiting time.

Like the size
This is nice for over the road trick drivers. It's small but can cook two cans of beans very well. Ithrow my veggies on top and heat my water for noodles a healthy meal quick. You do have to stay with the pot because it does burn easily!
