Small but surprisingly powerful
Great brightness and amazing colors and contrast for a small projector . This unit is 480p but downscales 1080p very nicely . High contrast helps overcome some of them lack of detail . Perfect for a kids room . Anime and cartoons look amazing !

Amazing projector for the job.
There is no remote but the projector does its job very well. Even documents are very readable. Good for presentations.

The Little projector that could for backyards
The specs on this are not great but it’s more about what the sum of parts allow; a small portable package that you can set up pretty much anywhere. It’s light on the extras but it wasn’t hard for me to scrounge together a tripod I had bought years ago, disconnect the fire stick on the tv for a bit and we were off to find a wall to project on.Pico projectors on the low end are mainly from lesser known brands, most notable brand is probably anker.Optoma provides just the basics: manual controls, built in battery, a recessed lens, and a carrying bag. No remote, not even a lens cap. No apps or streaming, strictly bring your own device.Powered the fire Stick directly from the projector and we were up and running in maybe 10 min of fiddling with the tripod providing all necessary positioning. And there we were just watching avatar on the living room wall, with the small size can imagine doing this on vacation anywhere there is a large enough wall. The speakers are loud enough to watch but can also send sound out via 3.5mm stereo cable to nearly any portable speaker you have laying around.Picture quality is reasonably sharp at even 80”, yeah it’s not HD sharp but perfectly fine for backyard viewing. Played around with YouTube music videos as background visuals and will be fun at the next bbq. It’s also surprisingly bright and doesn’t require pitch dark lighting to get a usable image, of course the darker the better.Charger is a 19v device, would have been nice if it took power over usb to extend playtime via an external battery pack but no dice.A cheap tripod and streaming stick are all you need to make this a fun flexible piece of kit.

Nice and portable, could be brighter though.
I liked the portability, but I think this projector needs to be brighter.
