UTG True Huntress Female Sporting Vest

This vest was the best purchase I've made in a long time! I'm currently training my dog in agility and we spend a lot of time hiking. I never have the pocket space needed for my stuff as well as my dog's. I usually bring a small backpack when we go hiking and now I just need this vest!A classmate had a vest designed for dog handlers and I liked it but wasn't willing to drop $150 on one. I'm so glad I found this as an alternative. Like the more expensive vest, this one also has a big pocket in the back with easy asscess from either side and ample space to stash tug toys, balls, leash, etc.The inside of the vest has 2 pockets that have rubberized headphone ports and they work perfectly for threading a roll of poop bags through.There are several pockets on the inside and outside. My big cell phone fits into a couple of them easily.I'm 5'3 and 118 lbs and was worried about it being too baggy, now that this vest only comes in "one size fits most." It came with ample elastic cord to fit the sides to the desired fit. I highly recommend trying this vest on over the thickest item you think you'll be wearing (ex: hoodie vs Tshirt) before you cut the ends. You can tie a simple knot under the stoppers and singe the ends with a lighter to seal the tips.This is a thick and heavy duty material that feels like it will hold up well. The shell is a duck-type canvas. I plan to order another one in a different color. At less than $30, this vest is worth every penny!

This vest is very feminine fit and looks awesome on. I love the adjustable sides. I weigh 130 and have a 34 bust and B-C cup. I ordered a small and the shoulder recoil pad is right where it is suppose to be. It is HOT though. Like melt your skin off kind of hot. BUT, when you arent shooting you and unzip easily and get some air. It will be great for fall shooting and winter as well. The pockets are great also! TON of pockets!

This vest is excellent if you aren't expecting a women's fit.To simplify it's a bit like a cute Icon motorcycle jacket and a functional, but not attractive women's shotgun vest were merged into something that a cute garmet with lots of small and medium size pockets.To elaborate...Leaper's UTG did a much better job than the usual sportswear shrink and pink, but it's still on the boxy side fit wise. I've always been a fan of ScoteVest and other functional garments that eliminate the need for a purse or bag. Unfortunately as a small person (under 5'4") they are of limited usefulness to me. With a tablet in the pocket my movement is limited and I can't wear important things, like seat belts.The True Huntress is in no danger of holding a device larger than a Samsung note or a plus size iPhone in any pocket, but as such it works better on a smaller curvier person. I expect to wear it frequently. The elastic cords mean it can be quickly adjusted to be an inner or outer garment. It does not however hug curves. If the weapon concealment pockets are used as intended the waist disappears entirely, but is probably faster, but noisier than a zipper pocket. The concealment pockets are small, my ruger lcp in an elite systems holster is at the edge of the Velcro, but easy to seal. A larger weapon might fit holsterless.The elastic makes it more form fitting than the average shooting vest. There is no storing a box of shells, but perhaps a dozen in the pockets. The recoil pads are thin, but nice about 1/3 of one of those past pads that attach to a bra.Unzipped it works great to help conceal OWB holsters.Form fitting and cute compared to most shooting vests, but not compared to something with princess seams that actually complements your curves.Also amazon only caries one of the two sizes UTG makes if you are over a US size 12 I would not expect to wear this one over a coat, though it might work over lighter outerwear, and would look for the larger size.

Love this vest so far. It's nice and sturdy, and I absolutely cannot overstate how much I love the fact that it's adjustable. I actually started out by ordering the L / XL size since I'm 5'10" and broad-shouldered, but it ended up being massive, so I exchanged it for the "one size" and hoped for the best. It was pretty tight at its default adjustment, but a little bit of tinkering with the drawstrings took care of that. It's nice to be able to loosen it, put it on, and then tighten it to your liking. I may even leave the strings a little long just so I can tighten or loosen it further depending on the thickness of the shirt I'm wearing under it. The material is fairly heavy and feels like it should last quite a while. I'm excited to be able to make use of it!

I needed a dog training vest and hated the baggy, ugly ones designed for men that were at least 4× the cost. For the price I decided this was worth a shot and was so pleased I ordered another for a Christmas gift for a friend.The pouch in the back is great for tug toys, etc, the plethora of exterior pockets is perfect for an abundance of treats, and the interior pockets work for car keys, phone, poop bags (threaded through the headphone port holes like a dispenser😆), etc.The one size fit would be an issue if it didn't have the bungee lacing on the sides (I threaded the excess back up into the holes rather than cutting it off so the dig can't grab it and I still have plenty for adjustment). I'm 5'7, wear 30R jeans, but am a 34H. I'm still playing with fit- my preference is to zip partway but I'm skeptical of the zipper's ability to handle that strain and expect to have to replace it with a heavier one. Overall, a great cost savings compared to the dedicated vests I was looking at!

Love this vest! The adjustable stretchy lacing on the sides makes for a easy-to-move-in and flattering custom fit that works with any amount of layers underneath. I am a long time woman hunter, and I like not looking XL like I did in my husbands old hunting vest. Love all the pockets AND the gun shoulder pads that can slipped into a handy inside pocket if desired are perfect. I shot an elk today with my 243 rifle and felt no discomfort at all. (sure beats stuffing wool socks under my bra strap!) LOVE THIS VEST!

If it wasn't adjustable, I would have had to return and get a new size. But it is, and I love it. Tons of pockets. Durable material. I'm happy

Very nice vest. It’s a bit stiff to start with but it will break in. Loads of pockets so perfect for what I need

It is made strong and yes it is a bit heavy but it holds everything.Best for travellers, hikers and people go on walks often who do not wish to carry a purse, this is your choice.I also have a black one, but I found this grey one easier to break in.Try it and you likely will be a fan very quickly to this product.
