Electrified XL-2100-ELE10 Replacement Lamp with Housing for KF-50WE620 Sony Televisions

When our 55" flat screen had audio, but no picture, we thought for sure we would need to purchase a new TV. My husband did an online search to try to determine what the blinking code might be. It stated it was most likely that the lamp was burned out. We checked with Sony and found it was over $200.00 for the bulb. We did not want to spend that not knowing if it was really even the problem. Decided to first check with Amazon, and was SO glad we did. Bought the bulb for a fraction of the cost. It arrived quickly and came with easy to follow directions right on the box. My husband and I had no idea about taking off the panel to access the bulb and complete the replacement, but it was so easy and took only about five minutes. WOW talk about a big savings. Thank you amazon.

I was just about to throw my television in the garbage when someone asked me if it could be lamp that had burned out. I ordered this electrified replacement lamp with housing and when it arrived I was able to remove and replace the lamp without any difficulty whatsoever and for a person who is electronically challenged this felt good in itself. When I turned the television on it worked beautifully and I was a very happy person. The shipment arrived quickly and in excellent condition and very cost effective considering that purchasing a new television would have definitely been more expensive.

The lamp arrived as expected. When replacing the unit (which by the way it comes with a fragile plastic casing) I think I used too much force with a Phillips screw driver while tightening the housing. Because of this I cracked the plastic (my mistake). I was able to remove the actual lamp off the plastic housing and put it on the old factory one. Installed it following the instructions that were included and voila!!...my TV is back on. Save about $800 buying a new TV. Thanks Electrified.
