Updated: This company stands behind the quality of their product
Update #2:An in-home service was scheduled one day after I reached out to Lotus customer service. Technician showed up on time and even brought his own shoe cover to keep the floor clean. He repaired the bidet unit, ran extensive testing to make sure there is no leak, and even ended up going the extra mile to fix a minor issue of my toilet pump! I am impressed by the thoughtfulness and professionalism.Updated Review:I reached to to lotus customer service, and glad to find out that this company is willing to stand behind the quality of their product. I can either take the unit to their store for free repair, or they can send someone to my home for a reasonable fee. I appreciate their honesty and decency!!!Purchased the ATS-2000, it started having issues in about 2 years. I start noticing that some times a red light blinks indicating water tank has no water, when that happens, all other features worked fine except the spraying water function. I cleaned the filter and have plumber checked water pressure. None of that helped. It worked on and off for a while, then a few months later, It completely stopped working. That red light is constantly blinking, and water tank is always empty so none of the spraying function works!

Breach In Sector 0
If you're wondering if the Purestream wash does what you think it does, it does (at least when at the highest power setting).Due to some health issues, an enema funtion was important to me, and one of the main reasons I wanted a bidet seat about 5 years ago. I first tried another that recived high ratings for its "turbo wash". But apparently I am a tough nut to crack, and it was only strong enough to work occassionally - if I was somehow super-relaxed and found just the right position. Even then, barely any water would be introduced. So I chalked up using a bidet for an on demand enema as a failed experiment. However, my wife and I came to enjoy the bidet for its normal intended functions, so I sought to replace it. When I searched again for recommendations for bidets with an effective enema function, most recommended models by Bio Bidet. However, I noticed most of those articles were on sites that specialized in selling bidets and only carried Bio Bidet and a couple of other manufacturers. Reviews from users were mixed at best. To be clear, I never tried a Bio Bidet model, so I am not personally knocking them.I did, however find a few datapoints suggesting that Lotus' Purestream wash (at least in the model I bought) was the most powerful enema funtion on the market. Since the features and price were comparable to the Bio Bidet, and I did not find any user reviews offering dissenting opinions on the enema function, I went with it, and I'm very glad I did.So, that's what sets it apart from the crowd. Otherwise, you kind of get what you pay gor when it comes to bidet seats. All of the electronic models have about the same degree of difficulty when it comes to installation, and all the manufacturers have a similar range of models with a similar menu if features as the price goes up.If I try to find something to complain about, thr only LED lighting on the seat I bought is a white LED panel to run the basic bidet functions without the remote. It's located on the side of the seat and kind of spotlights the supply hose and (in my case) the power cord / outlet. Just aesthetically, I'd rather the mechanics be more hidden from view. The last bidet seat I owned had softer blue LED lights which lit up the bowl. While both serve the purpose of not having to turn on the overhead light for bathroom trips, which is nice, my old seat looked much much nicer in a dark room.

Great invention and good quality
After several months of using this product, our family kinda got hooked. Whenever we go on vacations or whenever we’re not home, we are just not used to not using this. Great invention and good quality so far

Lasted 3 years then died
Has great features. Enjoyed having warm water and a warm seat as well as the different kinds of sprays. Never really use the air dry. It’s not really strong enough to actually dry you off.But after three years, it started going downhill. Would randomly not work and I would have to unplug it and plug it back in several times before it would start working again. Now it no longer works at all. The lights come on, but none of the buttons work.

Awesome!!
This thing is incredible! I would recommend it to anybody and I think everybody should have one. The only complaint I have is the cover is plastic and you can’t sit on it.

We love Lotus bidet ATS 800
There is nothing to dislike, it is good, the size is right, the buttons are nice. This is the second bidet in our home, and the first is the Lotus too, but it is ATS 500. That one works just fine, but the size is not exactly as our toilet. The new one matches perfectly.

Installation Illustration and remote control needs improvements
I have used Lotus brand for more than ten years now. Here is my comments on this one (first time bought it):1. Installation instruction is confusing in that the package comes with two different types of screws, but the bolt to secure the seat to toilet has square head and is plastic, and the other sets of screw is metal, and has round head. Unfortunately the illustration in the installation guide did not make it clear. Hence I made the mistake of using the metal one try to mount it on the toilet, and cannot get it secured to the toilet. After puzzling why I'm having trouble, I realized the plastic square screws are the right one I should use. Eventually got it installed, but waste a lot of time and energy.2. The remote control comes with a plastic piece which glue to the wall. But problem is that the remote itself does not work if it is placed back to the wall remote holder. You have to remove it from the wall mount, then the remote work. Why? Other brand let you use the remote when it is in holder.
