Seagate ST4000Nc001 bare drive
Very good price, so far so good on performance - have always bought Seagate drives. These installed rather easy, but with boot drive issues on one, it only was showing half the capacity (about 2gigs) in windows disk management. It was due to having an MBR on it from the factory. Just delete that, reinstall it/or dont install a new one - and use as a slave. Great product.

SO FAR SO GOOD!
Great price......... I use them in my Synology server box. So no real need for high speed HDD's. They do what they say they will do. Also very quiet running as well in my application. I always buy Seagate too because over the 30 years of using computers.... Seagate has proven to always be the best.

Good drive for backing up data.
I use this slower drive to backup data from my faster in use drives.

1 Year Reseller Warranty (NOT 3 Years) from Worldwide Product Importer
Ordered two disks for my new unraid array. Ran a preclear, one disk came out fine, the other reported 3 different SMART errors 90% through verifying if the writes succeeded (SMART error 187 raw 3, error 197 raw 8, error 198 raw 8). Currently in warranty replacement process with company, will update rating depending on what I get.In conclusion, I would have bought different drives if I knew the warranty was only one year--Seagate requires you to go through the reseller for the serial #s I got.UPDATE: Reseller replaced the drive I RMA'd with them for a drive that works and didn't register any SMART errors in my tests.

Capacity is legit.
I bought this for a storage drive for movies on my HTPC and it does just that. No errors reported too. At the price of $63.95, this was a steal. Came in proper packaging but on the inside of the packaging was a WD(Western Digital) ad, now look i don't mind if others like WD but i don't want then no were near my Seagate.Thank you.

I want my money back for three of the four drives.
I am a Seagate stockholder and disappointed with quality of drives. I bought four drives for Seagate-D4 NAS. Three of four Seagate drives failed and been replaced multiple times.Quality is coming up short I am forced to forgo seagate and replace drives with Toshiba hardware. All four Toshiba hit the ground running & worked flawlessly. In contrast I continue to send seagate drives back for factory replacement only to have the replacements repeatedly fail.Further adding insult to injury I now must pay return postage to seagate for an replacement drive that will fail again.Last seagate drive lasted for 5 days then failed. Ran Sea tools & short generic test ran for 4 hours & never completed.I want my money back for three of the four drives.

Great Deal and As Described
Couldn't be happier a week into my added 2nd HDD that will double as my personal CLOUD when I have time to set it up. Minor scare upon installation but it was just a nervous and inpatient me. Took longer to format/initialize the drive than I anticipated based on my research. Once that happened - smooth and fast.

Great price for an NAS rated, 24/7 drive
These drives are an an old model, but are rated for 24/7 use and 8760 hours a year.I have been very pleased with the 4TB Terascale drives I purchased for use in my unRAID setups. Plus it was a great price for a 4TB drive rated for continuous use.
