CHAUVET DJ LED Lighting (ABYSSUSB)

The Good: It's leagues better than my older halogen versions: ADJ H2O 250w, ADJ H2O, and original Abyss. With the IRC-6 remote I was able to adjust brightness, speed, and color on the fly during my last event. It's been a while since I've had SO many compliments for something left running in the background. It's lightweight, compact, and no more changing expensive bulbs!The Not-so-Good: Only 6 colors and still NO red? My old ADJ H2O has 10 and can stop in BETWEEN colors (manually, mind you) and had red for that fiery effect. Also really don't like the bracket design - it doesn't need to be so long and increases the overall packing/storage size. Can fashion my own in the shop so not a total deal-breaker.Bottom Line: Still glad I made the switch for flexibility, clarity of the textured glass wheels, ease of use with the IRC-6 remote, and portability. Try the slowest speed, where the effects wheels are barely moving and let the colors cycle through. This fixture is a definite crowd pleaser and the case is nicely designed.Chauvet: Please add some more colors, including RED. Everyone wants RED. While you're at it, add a software update to allow it stop halfway between colors. You're welcome.

Ordered two units, which one of them didn't have the light rotating as expected. I then contacted Amazon and was able to get a replacement unit with a week. Returned the defective unit and got refunded a partial shipping fee. The lights work beautifully.
