Just like new!
I have the Logitech MX 1000 laser mouse from well over 10 years ago. The battery stopped holding a charge for more than a day. Got this replacement in, and swapped it out. I did have to use double sided tape to keep the battery in place. Now, it will last all week on a single charge. Just like new!

Barely lasts 2 days of LIGHT usage. My dying OEM battery lasts longer!
I am extremely disappointed. It is like this battery sat on a shelf for multiple years and slowly died a horrible death. The OEM battery would last 7-10 days of light to even aggressive use. Surely battery tech has improved? Clearly not.I will do a true capacity test with some bench tools to see if this is actually delivering 2,000mAh, but I highly HIGHLY doubt it.I'm putting the older battery back in because this one, despite its claims of being new, does not last as long.I am sorely disappointed.

Excellent battery replacement.
This replacement battery for my MX-1000 laser mouse charged and worked perfectly immediately. Couldn't ask for and get a better deal. Price and quality more than met my expectations. I like that mouse a lot and now it's back to like it was when new. Love it. Don't have to feed it (charge it) every twenty minutes.Thanks.

Excellent Replacement for a Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse
The part number on the original battery was the same as the battery I received (L-LB2) but had a slightly higher mAh ratting (2000 versus 1700) . It installed and works with no issues. You might want to use some tape to hold the battery in the bracket while you screw the internal battery bracket back into place. The battery came fully charged and after approximately 24 hours of usage, not on the charger, the battery indicator went from a full charge of 3 lights to 2 lights. There are 4 screws to access the internals of the mouse. 2 are under the mouse foot pads, which can be removed and replaced with some care, at the rear of the mouse, the other 2 are under the sticker that has has the manufacturer's information on it. Just look or feel for 2 depressions that indicate an opening in which the screws can be access. You'll have to cut the sticker at those points or just push a phillips screwdriver through the sticker. The mouse charged back to full in relatively short order after placing it back on the charger.NOTE: For some reason they also shipped a small battery charging circuit board with an available micro USB connector for charging. I'm guessing it's for a few specific models of mice this battery also is intended for. This board is tiny and would need some soldering skills to install.

Batteries will not charge
I thought I was going to be able to bring my favorite mouse back to life, that was not the case. This battery does not hold a charge. I leave it on the charger overnight, will have 3 green lights on the mouse, as soon as I pull it off the charger, it goes red and mouse shuts off minutes (1-2) later.Avoid this product.
