I began assembling these as soon as they arrived--and immediately became frustrated because there was no way to get the steel holes aligned. So I put the disassembled chairs aside and figured I'd have to return them or hire a handyman to fix them. And then my friend came over and slipped off the black rubber pieces around the swiveling tabs -- and viola! They're assembled, sturdy, and beautiful.

Oh how I love this chair! It was very simple to put together! The picture looks as described except the legs are chocolate brown, looked more of a natural wood online. I'm a big bottom girl and it sits very well also.

Ok 1: I'm not one to write reviews. Like never. But this chair. I freaking love it and all my friends love it just as much! It fits my room so perfect and has this super minimal yet breezy feel to it, ya know? Literally the best chair I've ever owned. I'm going to be buying another for college as my desk is really long and my roommate wants one too!

I deliberated over which of the different versions of this chair to buy. Looking closely at the photos, this chair shows larger rear protrusions under the seat where the legs bolt on compared to other manufacturer's chairs which I thought would be a good thing and worth paying more for. When the chair arrived, I found that it didn't match the photo - the protrusions were the same as the less expensive ones so I'm guessing they are all made by the same company after all.That said the chair was fine but I'm never happy when a website photo isn't the exact item that was ordered, especially if you are trying to match existing chairs.

I ordered just one of these chairs after reading the review about the color difference issues. Absolutely loved it after receiving the chair. We have a walnut table that also has some variations in color from table to table so finding a chair with similar colored legs has been a challenge. These chairs were great. I wouldn't describe the color as espresso, rather a moderately dark walnut. They're very comfortable and very easy to assemble. We loved them so much we ordered 5 more to complete our set. Highly recommend.

I’ve been looking for a new chair for a while and I was glad to find something that wasn’t a classic rolling office chair. I don’t have a lot of office space so cutting down on the bulk has really helped make my area look clean. When I ordered it I was a little worried about the comfort level, as well as the ease with which I’d be able to get in and out/ move around in the chair, but its light enough that it moves as easy as my rolling chair (on smooth surface). Very comfortable, I’ve already spent a number of hours breaking it in and I’ve found that my back felt much better at the end of the day.The ONLY reason I gave this four stars instead of five is because of the assembly. It wasn’t difficult, it comes in two pieces, legs and chair, but I was missing two of the four rubber covers, and because I didn’t want to wait for them to be sent out I simply removed them. If you’re having trouble lining up the holes in the rubber covers with the chair this is an easy fix for it.Overall I’m pretty happy with my purchase so far, chair looks great!

Was referred over to this chair from a youtube review and am very happy with the purchase. The chair is sturdy and easy to put together. I utilize this chair for 8 hours a day when I work from home and have yet to experience pain as it does promote sitting up straight. Sometimes not having an adjustable chair may work out for your posture as this chair naturally has me sitting up straight.

This should be a very simple chair to assemble and I have personally assembled many different pieces of furniture and this one is very poorly machined and incredibly the screws don't line up. Too many little pieces. Buy something else. Have to find different screws to finish as the ones that came with it are stripped or improperly threaded.

Worst chair ever! So uncomfortable and pricey. I found the same chair on structube for $45.
