I Love Calcutta. I am rough on my shades so I was constantly replacing them. I decided to purchase Calcutta. I haven't looked back. They are super comfortable and very durable. I have a pair for work and a pair for play. I like to keep a pair in each vehicle including my work vehicle. If I drop a pair and scratch the lenses it's no big deal. Grab a pair and order another. It's cheaper than purchasing just the lenses for the more expensive ones and frames are just as durable as them. I have had friends that swear by the big names that have also switched.

They fit fine on the head but the lens is way too small for these type of sunglasses. The sun finds it's way glaring into your eyes from the top rim and then also glare from reflections from the bottom...like from water or reflective surfaces. I may keep them but a cap is a must with these...still get bottom glare. These are typical gas station/wallyMart quality and you're probably better off buying them there as you can try before buying.

I’ve used Calcutta original series glasses for years and keep getting them. I have tried with far more expensive brands over the years but I am typically tough on gear and it hurts a lot more when you damage the $300 brands. That being said these also have great optics for fishing and stand with the expensive competitors for quality. I keep coming back to them for a reason you won’t be disappointed

Inexpensive, but the construction appears to be fairly solid (as opposed to really cheap sunglasses that are loose and ill fitting). I like the feel of them on my face, and the amber lens are just what I was looking for to use when driving in most conditions. The only gripe I have is that due to the polarization effect, some things still appear to be shimmery or not completely crystal clear. Still, compared to my Raybans and Bolle, which are dark lenses, I can see things inside my vehicle much better, such as my cell phone and vehicle gauges. For looking out of my vehicle, though, it makes just about everything appear to be very clear, while also reducing glare.

I was happy that I received the glasses so quickly but they were shipped in nothing more than a plastic bag covering the glasses, wrapped in a piece of paper(which was the invoice) secured by a rubber band and then some brown paper for packaging material. Thankfully the glasses arrived undamaged. That plus a slight give between the top of the lens frame and the lenses were the only things preventing me from giving them 5 stars. The glasses are very well made and the lenses are super clear and crisp. I got the Black & Blue model and the color looks great. I haven't used them for fishing yet but I will update this post once I do.

i had a 269 pair of costa and lost them these were 30 tried them and they are great on the boat ,,polarization is good clarity is good .. what else can i say , but if i loose these i fill better that it was not 269

Cool skull and crossbones logo on the frame. The logo is worth the price of the glasses. Plus, they fit and work well too. I might buy more from them in the future.

We spend alot of time on the river & my husband loves these , they are great quality & help tremendously with glare on the summer time water. I bought 2 pair. This way he has a back up just incase.
