Subwoofer for '17 Jeep JKU unlimited
These are perfect for a truck that doesn't want crazy power but if you want to be heard you will be.I paired it with Pioneers 5-channel model they just discontinued (GM-D9605 | SKU: 4609503) which I had Best Buy install under the passenger seat. I also have Alpine Type S component speakers. The Pioneer Amp pairs really well giving this sub channel 400@4ohm or 1200@2ohm. I just used the basic 400@4ohm set-up. I originally had a Kicker 10' Type C 300watt rms 600 peak--and I blew that sub TWICE in a matter of two months - and I rarely cranked it. Clearly that sub was really not handling that type of power. This sub really does handle 500 watts since I've cranked it up a few times just to see if it can handle - it handles it easily. Honestly I only turn it up when I want to be heard since this sub is perfect for the jeep to just listen to music and still have a convo, or crank it to make my mirrors shake if I want to be heard. And for the price, this is a really solid and efficient buy for the price. This isn't like a setup for a sound that's $800 worth of two Alpine Type R subs (had those in a Cherokee back in college that I could be heard from a block away) but for an adult sound this is really MORE than you need.Negative: The 12 inch box is narrow, and all the weight is obviously on one side with the passive sub on the other side. I tend to tight corner turns so the sub kind of shakes back and forth (and sometimes falls). If you drive slow you won't have this problem. Or, do what I plan to do when it gets warmer; install a wooden floor under the carpet of my jeep to secure it and also to put a lock on it so people can't "easily" run off with it. If you want my sub, at least it won't be a crime of opportunity; you'll need to plan it. lol

Great box ~ among the best but my needs complicated the install
Kicker CompRT 43TCWRT124 ~ This is a great box. I know what a passive radiator does vs a port and appreciate Kicker's mastery of its design. The sound is very good, especially after it has "broken in". The star that is missing is due to gaps I have discovered that complicated my installation, you may not have these issues. Mainly ~ 1. not having any kind of speaker grills is just asking for damage and 2. mounting this upside down made the most sense for my install but it sounds like the interior wiring is not secured and is able to buzz against moving material inside. On the positive side, I am feeding this with 350 watts RMS, it is securely attached to the body of my vehicle and it absolutely rocks for its small size, and there is no port to let in dust or moisture that might damage the inner workings of the speaker.Good or bad is its weight ~ It is very light and powerful but if you turn it way up without bolting it down, you lose bass from the whole thing vibrating opposite of the air you are trying to move. <~ my opinions, YMMV

Awesome
This sub hits hard for a sealed truck enclosure. I currently have 2 of them in the trunk of a 2006 Nissan Altima. In case I decide to buy a truck, I have that option to install them into it.

Buy grills for it
At first didn't like product to much but after having it for 2 weeks and swapping to a ported sub I've noticed a big bass loss in songs like broccoli and Gucci gang so I am installing in with the ported sub to get my nice deep bass. Also buy grills if putting up against seats. If you don't you will rip the rubber as it vibrates against seats.

Worth the money !!!!
I have a 2018 2 door jeep JL, so the most important things to me were ... Space and THUMP!!! There’s not a lot of room in the back of a 2 door, and it fits PERFECTLY and I LOVE THE BASS!! You can hear me coming down the road.

Bad ass bass for trucks or cars with not very much space
These are freaking awesome!!!! Installed them in my single cab Dodge and they definitely have the boom!!!! Don’t take up alot of space and are heavy enough they don’t move

Best bang for your buck and fits anywhere!
Best sub I’ve ever purchased! The sound is crystal clear! Hits all the proper notes sounds like I have 2 12’s in a ported box! I have a 2005 Tahoe with 3rd row seats it fits perfectly between the 3rd seat and the hatch!

Amazing little package.
These fits great in my 2003 wrangler. The small space left in the back holds the box perfectly. I did hide the amp under the back seat. It hits pretty hard even for the open cab design.
