Fantastic Shears
I recently purchased my second pair of xShears, and I have to say, I’m just as impressed as I was with my first pair! The main reason I ordered this new pair? I couldn’t resist the awesome color options—purely a style choice! My original pair, which I’ve had for about five years, is still going strong. They’re as sharp and functional as the day I got them, even after putting them through the wringer cutting through Sam splints, zippers, and tough clothing. There are a few minor nicks in the blade from heavy use, but they still cut like a dream. I’m blown away by how lightweight yet incredibly durable these shears are. Thank you, xShears, for making such a reliable, high-quality product that holds up year after year! Highly recommend to anyone needing a dependable pair of shears.

Sturdy, Sharp, and Highly Reliable
I recently started using a pair of trauma shears, and they have quickly proven to be an indispensable tool that I use daily. Here’s why I highly recommend these trauma shears:The build quality of these trauma shears is outstanding. They are made from high-quality stainless steel, which gives them a robust and durable feel. Even after extensive use, they show no signs of bending or wear. The sturdy construction ensures that they can handle tough materials like thick clothing, seat belts, and even leather without any difficulty. One of the most impressive features of these trauma shears is their sharpness. The blades are precisely honed to provide a clean, effortless cut every time. They slice through tough materials with ease, reducing the effort needed and allowing for quick and efficient action in emergency situations. This sharpness is crucial for ensuring that cuts are made swiftly and safely, which is particularly important in trauma scenarios. These trauma shears are designed to perform reliably in critical situations. The sharp, serrated edge grips materials securely, preventing slippage and ensuring a precise cut. This reliability is essential for medical professionals, first responders, and anyone who needs to be prepared for emergencies. The shears feature an ergonomic handle design that makes them comfortable to use for extended periods. The handles are designed to provide a secure grip, reducing hand fatigue and ensuring better control. This design is especially beneficial when making multiple cuts or working in stressful situations. These trauma shears also come with rounded tips, which help to protect patients from accidental cuts or punctures. This safety feature is particularly important when working close to the skin or when cutting through clothing near a wound. The stainless steel construction makes these shears easy to clean and sterilize, ensuring they remain hygienic and ready for use at all times. This ease of maintenance adds to their overall practicality and longevity.Overall, these trauma shears are a top-notch tool that combines sturdiness, sharpness, and reliability. They are perfect for medical professionals, first responders, or anyone who needs a reliable cutting tool for emergency situations. I highly recommend these trauma shears for their exceptional performance, durability, and user-friendly design. If you’re looking for a dependable pair of shears that will stand up to the toughest tasks, these trauma shears are an excellent choice.

Professional trauma shear which you can trust
I wanted to buy a professional trauma shear for my first aid kit and after reading some reviews, decided to go with the X Shears. The quality of this product is outstanding and is also very sharp. I have tried it on a piece of clothing and it slices through it without any efforts. Very satisfied with my purchase.

Finally! EMT shears for rescue work!
I am a tree climbing instructor, and I used to be a scientific SCUBA diving instructor. I have been advocating shears over knives for rescue work for decades. If you are stuck and struggling while we are both floating and moving under water, or while we are both suspended from ropes high off the ground, do you really want to look over and see a blade in my hand?! Especially something pointy (stab) or serrated (slice)? No. However, most EMT shears are pretty underpowered for heavy jobs.Well, these XSHEAR Extreme Duty Shears arrived today and I immediately put them to the test. They cut through 1/2” thick kernmantle ropes rated for climbing/rappelling with one firm squeeze. They cut through ropes that were under tension AND ropes that were slack. They made the cleanest cut through webbing I have ever seen… cleaner than a razor blade.I need a tool delicate and safe enough to cut a child’s hair if they get hair stuck in a climbing knot (it happens, not often but not never), capable of cutting string, webbing, and fabric, strong enough to cut a 1/2” climbing rope and—most importantly—able to cut one rope and ONLY one rope out of a tight grouping of other ropes that must NOT be cut. Rare as they are, a rope-cutting tree rescue invloves cutting the middle rope out of a tight grouping of three ropes. A wicked serrated knife will make short work of cutting heavy rope, but is pretty likely to take another rope with it and might also cut/stab you or the person you are trying to rescue in the process!Anyway, you carry what you want, but I’m carrying THESE!! And since they are stainless steel, I’m probably going to buy a second pair to add to my SCUBA kit! Because in addition to being the right tool for the job, they are also cheaper than most rescue knives!A+*Awesome Review Update*I was showing these to my tree climbing buddy last night, and his enthusiastic five year old insisted on taking a turn. I held some rope while dad made sure the little guy’s fingers were safely in the finger holes. We did NOT help him squeeze! He had to use both hands, but to our amazement, the five year old cut a 1/2” kernmantle climbing rope! That’s how good these shears are! I’m stronger than I five year old even if I’m upside down cutting something behind my back left handed! Seriously, these things are great.
