NIce metel fan with heavy base,not light plastic. Not too heavy. I like the metal clip closures for the fan. Worth the price .

Moves lots of air.. Missing the turn knob, that holds the head to mast.Otherwise I like it. Fast shipping..

Good fan but wish the slowest setting was a little slower. Overall it works great and designed well in all other ways!

Started off great only had for 2 months and it already stopped working

Bought as a Christmas gift for son who requested a new fan as a gift, it replaced an older fan that he was using. Son says it is a little noisy but for him it doesn't bother him. It was a little bit difficult to put together because of the directions because of how they were written compared to other fans (he's 25 years old) he's put together over the years. He says it moves the air very well, he keeps on it on high---we are one of those families who uses fans year round not only for the breeze but for the white noise as well. He would recommend the fan for other people as well. Says also it is easily adjustable and is perfect for his bed.

The one thing I didn't like is the outer nut assembly. It was a pita to get on, and I don't have a lot of faith in its ability to stay on over time.Everything else is sweet. It was quick to assemble without the directions, the base is not cheap plastic and has the weight to stop it from being tippy, and I've never had a fan blow like this. I was able to get rid of two fans instead of one, and it's quieter than either one. So long as it lasts, I might get two more.

This product ships with instructions that apply to another model, and I could not figure out on my own how to put this model together. When I contacted the seller they responded, "Oh yes -- the manufacturer changed the product but did not update the instructions. You will have to contact the manufacturer (in China) to find out how to put it together." I ended up deciding that it was not worth my time and trouble.

I am surprised by the high quality of this item. It is better than Lasko and all the competing brands by far and it is at a great price point. It has high output and is fairly quiet. We use it in our home gym. This is heavy duty and made mostly of metal; the base, the poles, the fan cover. Everything locks together unlike normal pedestal fans. The pole screws into the base, and the motor also has a screw to secure it to the pole, so you can pick up any part of the fan and it won't fall apart!
