Life Extension Mega GLA with Sesame Lignans, 30 Softgels (Pack of 2)

This product is great. My doctor can test supplements and nearly everything I've brought to him over the past 25 yrs has tested as bad. This one tests good. That's exceptionally rare.The gel caps are large but they're a standard size. The review that gave it one star for the size is unfounded. My omega-3 gel caps are the same size. And if a person doesn't want to swallow these gel caps, just bite into them. They actually have a good taste. I usually bite into these because I like the taste.I take this product because I have a condition where my liver doesn't process fats very well. Borage oil gives my body what it needs so that the liver can process fats. People who are skinny and have a hard time putting on weight might have the same condition and this might help. Don't worry, you don't get fat as a result. It just takes a lot of stress off your liver. If you have hemorrhoids, that's always a problem with the liver being stressed, so this could potentially help that issue if you happen to have the fat processing issue I have, but what helps a lot more is Liver Cleanse by Thorne Research (or Thorne Laboratories). There's nothing else out there like it and my doctor calls it a miracle pill because it works wonders for liver issues.This product is also sometimes prescribed for high blood pressure.I highly recommend this product for general upkeep of health, too.

I take one cap daily, and my fingernails are strong and flexible. Before I started using this product, maybe a year ago, nails were always brittle and breaking. To me, this proves that this product is doing its job for the body as a whole.Four months ago, I bought a bottle of NutriONN Borage Oil, much less expensive than the Life Extension product, with a very similar fatty acid profile. It looked impressive. But within weeks, my nails began to fall apart. Thankfully, I am back to the Life Extension Mega GLA.

I used to buy this product every 3 months but this time the product came different. Each containers has 60 capsules not 30. The size of the capsules is bigger than normal. The supplement facts are not the same. I really dislike this purchase.
