Japanese Traditional Towel Tenugui MAMESHIBORI Pattern 34×13inch Cotton 100% (Blue)

I bought this tenugui for its traditional blue dot pattern. When I received it I found that this "Japanese Traditional" hand towel differed from authentic tenugui in two ways--first, it was hemmed when most tenugui are unhemmed. (They are easier to wring out and dry faster when unhemmed.) What really blew my mind is that this "Japanese Traditional" tenugui is made in CHINA! It will do for my intended use but I will not be buyingthis product again.

Very good quality, just as described. The Traditional pattern is very nice and it's a sturdy piece all together, can be used for intended purpose as well as worn as a headband or other accessory. Yes the edges are hemmed which isn't normal for a tenugui but some may like that better. I use this in every day life and you can't beat the price for a tenugui like this.*** EDIT ***I recently got this tenugui loved it, until I got it wet... I literally just put water on it and then the blue dot color just fades and warped right out. Some dots aren't even there and the white Is now a blueish fade tint. Couldn't believe the colors were so unset that simple water made it warp. Will not buy again, consider a real tenugui not this

Good all respects except one: the edges aren't hemmed, so they unravel.

FYI these can go through the wash no problem. No warping or fading despite the cotton content
