The problem is when it gets wet
This works well until you sweat profusely like I do here in Florida summers. Then, it becomes difficult to breathe. I was thinking of sewing a small wiffle ball into the area around the nose to give me some breathing room when the material gets wet. But in reality, the makers of this item should have implemented a solution of some sort, it should not be the buyer's problem to solve

Beard Net
Bought these for my husband..... he works in a very cold lab and also needs to wear a bead net and also due to COVID a face mask as well! This takes care of all three needs; keeps him warm, no silly looking beard net and no need for a face mask. Perfect fit! My husband does NOT have a large head. Win, win, win.
