Reliable, Long-Lasting AAs for Everyday Power Needs
I’ve been using these for over a month now, primarily in a mix of high‑drain devices like wireless gaming controllers and mid‑drain gadgets such as LED flashlights and remote controls. So far, they’ve consistently performed well and entirely replaced the need for disposable batteries around my house.Right out of the box, the batteries charge quickly and hold a strong capacity—often staying charged for weeks even in devices that I don't use daily. When used in my Xbox controller, I can go several long gaming sessions before seeing any noticeable drop in performance. That’s a relief, especially compared to budget rechargeables I’ve tried before that tend to lose charge fast between uses.Another thing I appreciated is the labeling and casing. The shrink-wrap is neat and doesn’t peel, and it’s easy to tell the charge orientation without touching the terminals—very helpful when I’m changing batteries in low-light situations. The batteries feel well-built—not loose or rattle-prone in the charger or when placed in the device.Over the weeks of use, I’ve also noticed they maintain power very well, even if a device sits idle for several days. The cells seem to have solid self-discharge resistance; I haven’t needed to top them up nearly as often as generic rechargeables. When I do charge them, they take a full charge in a fairly standard time frame—not painfully slow.Overall, these are easily among the best rechargeable AAs I’ve used in daily tech and hobby use. They save money, reduce waste, and keep your devices powered reliably—especially in gaming controllers, flashlights, and the like. I’ll definitely keep buying them.

NIMH chemistry batteries that deliver
I recently purchased two outdoor trail camera's which came with solar panels that charged batteries which supplied the necessary power to the camera. These solar chargers arrived with unbranded NIMH chemistry batteries. Each panel required 6 batteries so 12 total. To make a long story short for this review, only 1 battery of the 12 was "good" and would actually charge. 2 batteries would error out on the charger and the remainders would never complete a charge, they only got hotter the longer they were on the charger. Very unsafe! This is where the Tenergy Batteries come into play.. I've learned that Tenergy is about as good as it gets with this chemistry for these types of devices. Long lasting and readily charged. Fortunately I had them on hand to replace the faulty batteries I was given. Saved the day so to speak.I've also have and use Eneloop batteries but their size make it difficult to use in some devices, they have a larger diameter than the Tenergy batteries in the AA size plus their MH capacity is lower.IMHO Tenergy is the way to go.

Good, but not as good as they claim
The 2800 mah capacity is false advertising. I have tested mine, and they all come in at either 2400 to 2500mah. Still a good battery, just a false claim by the company.

New life for old stuff
I got these to replace used up batteries in solar lights and objects in our garden. They're nice and bright, once installed, and I've had them in use for a while with no sign of weakening. Well worth the price, these have the potential to give new life to anything that uses rechargeable batteries. I have these same batteries in solar lights that have been in use for months with no loss of the ability to hold charges with little or no bleed off. Very reliable

Powers whatever I need
When you live the life of a full-time rver find yourself needing more. That's why I turn to these batteries to power all the little things repeatedly. Longevity of these items is average I would say and work well in low temperatures. They were a good value for the money as I don't have to waste $18 on a pack of 30. Being rechargeable is what truly saves the Day no I purchased both styles so I don't know if this is triple a or double a. They both get the job done. Coming nice little packages to keep them sorted and protected and have a decent build quality. Remember being a full-time rver rechargeable batteries is a must guarding emergency preparation. Recommended have battery charger on hand.

Long time user.
Update:After being assisted by customer service, a solution was found and everything still rocks.I've been rocking Tenergy AA batteries for years. Very dependable. I'm a photographer and use up to 42 AAs at a time. I have starting replenishing my supply and decided to try these upgraded versions. The first order arrived with no charge and will not charge on my chargers (Tenergy 12 Bay chargers) I have chatted with Amazon and submitted my concern to the seller. Waiting on the response now. I have the 20pack arriving soon and I hope they are proper! I'm hoping I just got some duds and things are made right so I can pump up the stars and continue to be a Tenergy believer!

Not reliable
I bought 8 of the AA Tenergy batteries about 6 months ago, and they're now in the recycle bin as they now longer can be trusted. I normally use the Eneloop NiMH batteries--they're extremely dependable and have a higher-than-rated capacity and voltage which means they can be relied upon to power many devices that require alkaline-chemistry 1.5 volt AA batteries.I don't know why I made the mistake of going to these cheaper batteries--I guess I can blame it on a Wirecutter review claiming they were "just as good" as the Eneloops; they're not. After using these Tenergy batteries in a trail camera for the past 6 months they now longer hold a charge and have swelled to the point I can't even use them in a non-critical use such as a flashlight--they won't fit! The trail camera wasn't exposed to any extreme temperatures, max 70°F, min 41° F. and were never discharged below 50%.My recommendation: if you need a reliable rechargeable battery for an important device, don't use Tenergy.
