Very very very good bag
My experience with the Viking Moto Motorcycle Backpack has been the most wonderful experience I've had with having a shell backpack. Livia contacted me and asked me to review some items that were being sold through Viking Cycle and Viking Bags. I was given the choice of want caught my eyes and what I think would be very handy for things that I could use for my every day use. This backpack stood out the most. The backpacks that I had before I ordered the Viking Moto we're doing the job correctly at all. The bags would feel uncomfortable especially in the shoulders. The straps caused a lot of painful spots on my shoulders and around my neck. So when I saw this Viking Moto Backpack, I couldn't resist. This was the first time I blindly went into ordering something. I didn't look up any reviews whatsoever and I didn't read the details of the bag. I mainly went in for the looks and what I believed this bad could do and man was I right! The straps have mesh comfortable padding to cushion and protect your shoulders and the back of the bag seems like it's molded to pad and mend with your back when you put it on. Unlike other backpacks where it feels like there is a brick pressed against your spine. There are two buckles, one across your chest and the other across your stomach. These buckles are adjustable. The emblem is amazing because Viking Bags does NOT to try to oversell their products so it's rather small. The capacity of the bag is truly amazing and so is the structure. It's not very often you give a bag that is made like a shell to prettiest it's contents and feel comfortable at the same time. I managed to pack all of my camera equipment, my drone, my phone, my wallet, my keys, my gaming keyboard, my gaming mouse, my gaming headset, a few items of clothing, and some other personal items that we decently sized and that could get ruined very easily. Surprisingly enough the bag didn't lose its shape and stayed as it's shell formI could have packed a lot more things but decided that I didn't want to overdo it. I accidentally dropped a bag and was very worried about the contents inside. But I finally was able to examine my personal belongings to make sure that they didn't get ruined, I was in relief when I found out that nothing had moved and it was all in perfectly good condition.I took this bag for a speed test on the interstate and got up to about a hundred and thirty-five miles per hour. Most bags that I wear usually have a lot of wind resistance when I ride and it starts to become a pain in the a** in order for me to keep my body upright or in a tucked position. With this bag I was able to ride my own ride and have little to no when resistance pushing against me. I was very impressed when I was able to do my own thing on my bike.for anybody wanting to buy a bag that holds its shape and protects everything inside I highly suggest you buy this bag. I have no cons about this bag whatsoever because I found it very easy for me to be able to tuck away all the things that people would consider nonsense. A lot of people are concerned about the straps and the access parts of the straps that flap around in the wind. I found it very easy to take care of that by just tucking them in. I had no problems trying to get the bag off, tightening and loosening the bag, and making it more secure to my body. This is my review on the Viking Moto motorcycle backpack. I love the design, the stitching, the leather, the mesh padding, and just about everything else in this bag. This bag is very affordable and I I'm giving you my honest review. If I had any cons about it then I would speak up but this is my honest review. I ride a 2004 Yamaha YZF R6 and I like to ride fast. I also like to ride twisty roads as well. Writing is a passion of mine and I would like to thank Livia for directing me to this site, for directing me to this merchant, for the directing me to this company, and for simply looking out for the bikers code a comfort and livelihood of riding a motorcycle and just being on two wheels.

5 STARS - Great fit, cut for a RIDER, helmet holder, fantastic price - Very impressed.
I am very surprised by this backpack. I was a bit nervous when I first got it due to the size (ordered the smaller pack) as no backpack ever truly ‘fits’ me as I am 5’2 and 115 pounds. This one is made in a such a way that although a 200 pound rider can wear it I can comfortably customize it for my body and not have it oversized and flapping around in the wind. I am a gear nut and am known for my intricately packed bags. This one fits all of my gear, and then some, neatly inside. It’s well made, durable and waterproof zippers are a nice touch. It is shaped for a motorcycle rider with a flat bottom and a molded body casing to hug your back while being aerodynamic. The flat bottom fits perfectly to not hit the passenger seat while you’re on your bike, with or without your gear on (see pictures). The pockets inside are easy to access while holding a considerable amount of items, much more than it seems possible. I’ve attached pictures of a simply pack for a few hours ride as well as a pack for an overnight trip on the bike. I was able to include my laptop in a thickly padded sleeve, electronics, basic safety gear, few clothes, shoes and toiletries including a large curling iron. The straps are thick and very well padded so even without a jacket on the pack does not dig into your shoulders. I am a very petite rider (5’2 and 115 pounds) and was able to get the pack fitted well on my body. It’s made to reduce wind drag and even when fully packed for my overnight trip it stayed comfortable to wear. I was hesitant to order after seeing some online reviews that mentioned straps whipping around while riding, but it is no different than any pack - you simply have to tie of your strap bottoms. They also mentioned the skinny pockets on the side not being very functional, however I found them very useful for credit cards, cash and electronic cords. By far, the most impressive aspect to this particular backpack is the built-in helmet pocket that pulls out from the bottom of the pack and attaches to the front of the pack for a very fast and easy helmet holder. The handle on top is my favorite handle of any backpack I’ve owned, it’s thick enough to be comfortable without being too big for my petite hands. Bottom line- very impressed and would recommend. For reference, here is a list of items I was able to comfortably put into my pack;DAY PACKiPod, charger, adapter, cell phone chargerMotorcycle manual, key15” Macbook ProKeyboard3 motorcycle magazinesTennis shoesFULL OVERNIGHT PACKFull tire repair kitFirst aid kitDisc brake lockSAM splint4 handwarmer packs2 emergency instant cold packsBasic tool packFlashlightFull knife and holding clipUSB barging bankJacketHandkerchiefLong sleeve shirtSummer shirtShoesCurling iron (really)Hair brush, toothbrush, shampoo, hair spray, deodorant, lip balmiPod, charger, adapter, cell phone chargerMotorcycle manual, key15” Macbook ProKeyboardHere are a few pictures of it packed for day and overnight trips as well as with and without my jacket while sitting on the bike. BOTTOM LINE: fantastic design for a RIDER, very functional pockets and straps, well made, durable and extremely comfortable. Really, it doesn’t even feel like you’re wearing a pack. I highly recommend this backpack.
