Perfect
Worked perfectly. Just heat the mold first. And suet it up with the torch and the lead just drops right out.

Good mold, 4lbs at the most though.
It worked great. Here's a few of the things I learned when I made my first 18 lbs.1) Don't go by the lines. I put a fire brick on my cheap digital kitchen scale, then I put the mold on the brick and zeroed the scale.2) I sprayed the mold with a liquid graphite spray for locks to use as a mold release. It worked really well.3) preheat the mold so it doesn't crack when you pour molten lead into it.4) make sure your set up is leveled or your weights will be a bit wonky.5) I found it much easier to get the weight out of the mold if I tapped it on the floor of my garage right after the lead set up rather than waiting for the weight to completely cool. The handle will still be piping hot, so be careful. You can tell when it's starting to come out because the sound will change. Once the weight is out quench it in cold water.6) Remember that lead is toxic. When melting it you will release a toxic gas. Protect yourself appropriately. My only complaint about this mold is that a 4 lb weight completely fills the mold. I see no way to pour a 5 lb weight with it.

Great novelty
Has burrs on inside and made hard to drop out ingots, very fragile. Snapped on me on 4th ingot. Great novelty item

Great mold for saving money
Its made me about 15 3lb. dive weights. I think it has definitely paid for itself by now. Some people have said that it is brittle... From my experience i would have to disagree. I ALWAYS preheat the mold to wick it of moisture and it helps the weights cool evenly, which will prevent air pockets. Also putting hot stuff (molten lead) on a cold mold will definitely make it brittle. That said I have made numerous weights and have had to hit it pretty hard to break some loose and it has still stayed strong and true for me. I believe this mold says it can make up to 5 lb. weights but that is with it brimming, so it's safer to stay around 4.5 lbs if possible. I use a cheap digital scale with the mold on top then pour the led into it to get exact weights. I wouldn't really trust the lines inside the mold, but after you've done a few you can eyeball it. All in all I'm a happy camper and remember never dive alone... Dive safe everyone!

DO NOT BUY!!!!!!
I bought this mold to make weights for Scuba diving. I had the mold for about eight months before I actually got around to using it. When I was pouring my second weight the mold cracked out and is no longer usable. I contacted the seller and the told me I had waited too long and they would not replace the item. I would not recommend this product or this supplied. Horrible product and Horrible customer service.

Works well. Only con is that it is very rough and takes a bit of work to smooth them out.

Definitely worth the price
I've not had any problems with this mold. I sooted it to start, just to make sure the weights would release, and they release just fine. I've seen others complain about the handle breaking or the weights getting stuck -- I think perhaps they're releasing them wrong. Do not tap on the protrusion to start with (that will definitely stress the handle). Instead, tap it flat on something (the top of the mold will have to hang over), the weight will shift partially out of the mold, then tap on the protrusion to fully release it.
